A method for building an integrated customer analytics solution for an enterprise is provided. The method enables retrieving and processing customer data from data sources available in the enterprise. Further, statistical techniques are generated using the processed data to facilitate analyzing attributes related to the customer. Statistical model outputs are, then, derived using the generated statistical techniques. The statistical model outputs represent metrics corresponding to the analyzed attributes. Furthermore, statistical models are generated corresponding to the statistical model outputs. The statistical models are associated with scores that facilitate to predict likelihood of customer behavior towards products, services and other customer related aspects associated with the enterprise. In addition, reports are generated based on at least one of: the processed data and the one or more statistical model outputs. Finally, the method enables building analytical modules comprising the reports and the statistical models.
Abstract:
A method and system for implementing automatic recovery from failure of resources in a grid-based distributed database is provided. The method includes determining the category of each node in the subgroup of nodes, where the determination identifies each node as at least one of a worker node and an idle node. The method further includes saving state of each worker node engaged in execution of a task in a shared memory at pre-determined time intervals. Each worker node is monitored by one or more idle nodes in each sub-group. Upon detection of no change in state of worker node for a pre-determined period of time, a failure notification is raised by one or more idle nodes that have detected failure of the worker node.

The present invention provides a method and computer program product for creating an ordered data structure for storing a plurality of data elements. The data elements to be stored are first arranged in an order. A plurality of keys is then generated for the ordered data elements such that the keys may be arranged in a sequence. Thereafter, one or more keys from the plurality of keys are associated with the ordered data elements such that the values of the keys maintain the requisite order among the ordered data elements. Finally, an ordered data structure is created for storing the ordered data elements along with the associated keys.

A system and method for providing location based reminder is provided. The method comprises the steps of instructing mobile switching center to remind user on reaching a predetermined location via transaction input; forwarding the transaction input to external short messaging entity via mobile switching center; processing and sending the transaction input to Location Services (LCS) Client to set up change of area event; determining if the change of area event is invoked and user equipment has entered the predetermined location; providing a report to external short messaging entity via LCS Client, if the change of area event is invoked; and directing external short messaging entity to invoke a reminder on user equipment via application server.

A system and method for forming application dependent dynamic data packet format in a wireless sensor network is provided. The system comprises one or more sensor nodes, wherein each sensor node comprises one or more sensors for sensing physical events. Each sensor is defined as an active or an inactive sensor based upon the application requirement. The system also comprises one or more processing units for converting the physical events sensed by the active sensors to corresponding sensed data in digital format and forming dynamic length data packets comprising the sensed data and a sensor identifier field for conveying the identities of the active sensors.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method, system and computer program product for generating an inclusivity index of an organization. The inclusivity index is generated for various groups of individuals employed by the organization. Various parameters associated with the organization are identified. Further, a relative weight is generated for the parameters. Thereafter, a primary feedback is received for various parameters by individuals associated with a group. Subsequently, a secondary feedback is generated for each parameter. The inclusivity index is then calculated on the basis of the secondary feedback and the relative weight.

A method for communicating with one or more sensor nodes in a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) over a network is disclosed. The method includes initiating communication with the sensor nodes by sending messages to the server application using the instant messaging system. The server application formats the received messages and communicates to the sensor nodes and in turn also receives responses from the sensor nodes and communicates them back to the IM client. The method also includes steps for enabling a WSN messaging client to converse with an instant messaging client over the network during communication with the one or more sensor nodes in the WSN. The method further includes identifying the IM client the user has employed for communication and the corresponding IM protocol. Also, the method includes the step of configuring the WSN messaging client with the same IM protocol to enable communication.

A method for detecting occupancy status of a plurality of conference rooms in real time is provided. The method enables, firstly, monitoring a first output signal of a first sensor. Secondly, the method enables monitoring a second output signal of a second sensor. The method further enables comparing the first and second output signals with one or more predetermined thresholds within a predetermined time. Furthermore, the method enables correlating the comparison results to identify any uncertainty in detecting the occupancy. Furthermore, the method enables processing output from one or more image and/or video sensors based on the correlation to obtain occupancy status information when there is uncertainty in detecting occupancy. Finally, the method enables displaying the occupancy status information on one or more user devices.

A system and method for predictive categorization of risk of at least one project related activity is provided. The system and method provide categorization of the project related activity into one of a plurality of predetermined risk categories. Further, the risk category of the project related activity is predicted in at least one stage of the project life cycle. The method comprises collecting inputs pertaining to the project related activity being categorized and a predetermined set of details for categorizing the project related activity. The method further comprises categorizing the project related activity by applying discriminant analysis. The application of discriminant analysis comprises constructing a set of functions based on the predetermined set of details. Thereafter, the constructed set of functions are applied on the details collected pertaining to the project related activity, wherein the functions are applied for predicting the risk category of the project related activity.

A system and method for developing a rule-based named entity extraction system is provided. The method includes analyzing requirements of business users. The method further includes designing the rule-based named entity extraction system based on the requirement analysis. Further, the method includes implementing the design of rule-based named entity extraction system using one or more GUI-based tools. Thereafter, regression testing of the rule-based named entity extraction system is conducted. Finally, rule-based named entity extraction system is deployed.
