A novel chewing gum box includes a gum storage chamber, a storage chamber cover, a funnel apparatus, a gum introducing plate, a gum carrying groove, a carrying groove baffle, a push handle, a spring baffle, guide rails, guide rail grooves, a spring groove, and a spring. The gum storage chamber is communicated with the gum carrying groove through the funnel apparatus. The gum carrying groove is connected to the push handle and is capable of reciprocating along the guide rails and the guide rail groove. When retrieving gum, the box body is tilted and shaken first to allow gum in the storage chamber to slide along the gum introducing plate into the gum carrying groove via the funnel apparatus. The push handle then is actuated to have the gum pushed out along the guide rail and the guide rail groove, so that the gum is available for retrieval.

Systems, methods, and software for determining whether or not a monitored space is occupied by one or more humans and/or animals. In some embodiments, one or more radio-frequency (RF) receivers monitor(s) one or more RF frequencies for changes in received signal strength that may be due to changes in occupancy of the space being monitored. The received signal strength is analyzed using nonparametric online change-point detection analysis to determine change-points in the received signal(s). One or more statistical measures of the received signal(s), such as mean and variance, are used in conjunction with the change-point detection to determine a probability that the occupancy of the monitored space has changed. In some embodiments, additional sensors and/or machine learning can be used to enhance the performance of the disclosed occupancy-detection methodologies.

The present invention provides a method for sending and receiving control information, an apparatus and a communication system. The method for sending control information includes: setting respective control bits in a downlink control information (DCI) format to generate control information applied by a network side to a terminal, where the control bits include validity indication bits and transmission control bits, indication information indicating whether transmission control exercised by the network side on a transmission block is valid relative to the terminal is written into the validity indication bits, and the validity indication bits are located outside the transmission control bits; and sending the generated control information to the terminal. In the embodiments of the present invention improve efficiency of using an overhead required for transmitting the control information.

The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for processing data sending and a method and an apparatus for processing data receiving, wherein, the method for processing data sending includes: allocating the number of spatial transmission layers and a pilot resource for transmission at each spatial transmission layer; generating pilot resource information according to the number of spatial transmission layers and the pilot resource for transmission at each spatial transmission layer; and sending the pilot resource information to user equipment (UE). According to the embodiments of the present invention, the UE is enabled to determine a specific pilot resource to be used so as to effectively distinguish between user channels, obtain a correct channel estimation value, improve channel estimation performance, and thus, obtain correct service data.

In one example, a method includes receiving, by a server, data representative of a group of gestures detected by the plurality of computing devices and data representative of one or more shortcuts associated with the group of gestures from a plurality of computing devices, wherein each shortcut corresponds to an action performed by at least one of the computing devices. The method may further include aggregating, by the server, the data representative of the gestures and the data representative of the associated shortcuts received from the plurality of computing devices based at least in part on detected similarities between at least one of 1) the group of gestures and 2) the associated shortcuts, and defining, by the server, a gesture-shortcut language based at least in part on the aggregated data.

A system and method for creating and organizing events includes an activity stream application that captures, searches and collaborates on one or more events. The events include unstructured data comprising text, digital ink, an audio clip and an image. The activity stream application receives user input and generates a new event and combines related events into the same activity. The activity stream application receives a search query and searches for events that are relevant to the search query. In one embodiment, the search query includes contextual information that includes at least one of at a similar time, at a similar location, in a similar situation and a relatedness of event attributes.

The present invention discloses a method which includes: allocating, by an eNodeB, a dedicated resource region for a relay served by the eNodeB; calculating, by the eNodeB, a control channel of the relay; configuring, by the eNodeB according to the resource region allocated for the relay and the acquired control channel of the relay, the control channel of the relay in the resource region corresponding to the relay; and detecting, by the relay, control information sent by the eNodeB in the corresponding resource region allocated by the eNodeB for the relay. The present invention solves the transmission problem of a backhaul link control channel in an LTE-A relay system, so that a relay can receive control information sent by the eNodeB within a wider scope and that the complexity of blind detection of the relay is decreased.
