Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus and method for connecting to an Access Point (AP) based on beacon information in a wireless communication system. To this end, a wireless device predicts an interference condition from each of a plurality of APs based on information acquired by a received beacon, selects one of the plurality of APs, taking the predicted interference condition into account, and attempts connection to the selected AP.
Abstract:
The present disclosure dynamically selects an optimal parameter so as to stably stream an image without user's setting in a network environment. The present disclosure determines (schedules) a path to which a general packet is to be distributed based on a path cost indicator, and determines a symbol size and the number of source symbols, which minimize or sufficiently reduce a cost function.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device and method for providing an advertisement based on content buffering time. The device for providing an advertisement according to the present invention includes: a calculation unit calculating an expected buffering time for content selected by a user, a selection unit selecting at least one of a plurality of advertisements that corresponds to the calculated expected buffering time; and a providing unit providing the advertisement selected by the selection unit to a user terminal.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for offloading data traffic by a Mobility Management Entity (MME) in a wireless communication system. The method includes determining a Packet Data Network (PDN) to connect to for providing a service requested by a User Equipment (UE), upon receiving a connection request message requesting connection between the UE and the PDN from the UE, selecting a gateway disposed closest to a Radio Access Network (RAN), sending a permit message permitting a request for connection between the UE and the PDN to the UE, and setting an Evolved Packet Service (EPS) bearer for transmission and reception of data traffic related to a service requested by the UE between the UE and the gateway.
Abstract:
According to the present invention, a base station determines from a wireless communication system whether data to be transmitted is a response signal-required data that requires a response signal, estimates the amount of buffer of a user equipment (UE) at the point when the response signal is to be transmitted, predicts a required resource amount of the UE that is required for transmitting the response signal by using the buffer amount of the UE that is estimated, and schedules for allocating a resource to the UE on the basis of the required resource amount that is predicted.
Abstract:
A handover method in a mobile CCN. In the method, when detecting a UE performing a handover, a source local CCNx node caches data directed to the UE. The source local CCNx node transmits a request to stop transmission of the data directed to the UE to a target local CCNx node based on a condition. The target local CCNx node requests the source local CCNx node to stop transmission of contents that are being cached. The source local CCNx node transmits cached contents to the target local CCNx node. The target local CCNx node requests a CCNx entry node to stop transmission of specific contents based on a condition. The CCNx entry node transmits contents to the target local CCNx node. When detecting, the UE completing the handover, the target local CCNx node transmits the contents received from the CCNx entry node to the UE.
