Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for managing a multi-traffic identifier (TID) and multi-link block acknowledgment (BA) negotiation scheme. In some aspects, to negotiate a setup session between wireless communication devices, a first wireless communication device may transmit a request message including an information container that includes one or more negotiation parameter sets each associated with a type of traffic. For example, a type of traffic may correspond to a TID or a resource reservation for a particular traffic flow. Each negotiation parameter set may indicate functionalities being negotiated for the setup session. In association with the negotiation, a second wireless communication device may transmit a response message to the first wireless communication device that includes values for the negotiation parameter sets. For example, the response message may include an acknowledgment (ACK) indicating an acceptance of one or more of the parameter sets for the setup session.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication that can be used to establish a restricted target wake time (TWT) session on a wireless medium. In some implementations, an access point (AP) establishes a restricted TWT session for one or more wireless stations (STAs) associated with latency sensitive traffic, the restricted TWT session including restricted TWT service periods (SPs) during which the AP reserves access to the wireless medium for only the one or more STAs associated with the latency sensitive traffic. The AP transmits a clear-to-send (CTS) frame at a start of each restricted TWT SP, the CTS frame indicating to other STAs that the wireless medium is unavailable for a duration of the respective restricted TWT SP. The AP transmits latency sensitive data to or receives latency sensitive data from the one or more STAs during at least one of the restricted TWT SPs.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for target wake time (TWT) coordination. Some aspects relate to resolving an overlap between a first time period associated with a first TWT agreement and a second time period associated with a second TWT agreement. A first wireless device may receive first scheduling information associated with a first set of one or more time periods during which the first wireless device is capable of communicating with a second wireless device in accordance with the first TWT agreement. The first wireless device may receive second scheduling information associated with a second set of one or more time periods during which the first wireless device is capable of communicating with a third wireless device in accordance with the second TWT agreement. The first wireless device may transmit availability information to resolve the overlap between the first time period and the second time period.

FAST TRANSITION FRAME EXCHANGES FOR MULTI-LINK OPERATION

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices, and systems that support fast transition frame exchanges for multi-link operation. Some aspects more specifically relate to an over-the-Distribution System (DS) Fast Basic Service Set (BSS) Transition (FT) protocol for multi-link operation (MLO). In some implementations, a first wireless device may transmit a first frame that indicates a medium access control (MAC) address of a first wireless station (STA) affiliated with the first wireless device, a communication link on which the first wireless STA intends to communicate with a second wireless STA affiliated with a second wireless device, or both. The first wireless device may receive a second frame that indicates a MAC address of the second wireless STA, the communication link on which the second wireless STA intends to communicate with the first wireless STA, or both. The first and second frames may be exchanged according to an over-the-DS FT protocol.

PACKET DUPLICATION FOR DATA FRAMES IN A WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for packet duplication for data frames in a wireless local area network (WLAN). Some aspects more specifically relate to decoding duplicate packets that include data frames. An access point (AP) may transmit two or more physical layer protocol data units (PPDUs) that are duplicates of each other while operating in a duplicate data packet mode. A station (STA) may include one or more decoders configured to decode the duplicate PPDUs cumulatively or separately based on a decoding mode. The AP and the STA may exchange frames to dynamically enable or disable the duplicate data packet mode. The duplicate PPDUs may include one or more bits configured to indicate that the PPDU is a duplicate. The STA may decode at least one of the duplicate PPDUs and transmit a feedback message responsive to at least a portion of one of the duplicate PPDUs.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for channel access techniques in a multi-hop framework for ultra-high reliability (UHR). Some aspects more specifically relate to a transmission opportunity (TXOP) sharing mechanism according to which wireless communication devices can relay data frames along multiple hops within a same TXOP, a coordinated medium access scheme associated with relaying data frames between a root access point (AP) and a wireless station (STA) via multiple service periods, and various signaling mechanisms and frame formats according to which wireless communication devices can exchange or negotiate information associated with a coordinated medium access scheme. In some implementations, a coordinated medium access scheme may be associated with multiple time epochs (each associated with a service period) and differentiated channel access across the multiple time epochs may facilitate the relay with or without TXOP sharing within the associated service periods.
