A first UE may transmit a first sidelink grant transmission to a second UE with a resource reservation for a second sidelink grant transmission from the first UE. The second UE may select a sidelink resource that avoids an overlap with the resource reservation for the sidelink grant transmission from the first UE and transmit a sidelink transmission using the sidelink resource that avoids the overlap with the resource reservation. In further aspects, the second UE may transmit a sidelink transmission based on the first sidelink grant.

Abstract: A transmitting user equipment (UE) may perform resource hopping for a periodic sidelink resource reservation by scheduling a plurality of periodic sidelink resources with a first periodicity, the plurality of periodic sidelink resources being shifted at a first offset in a frequency domain. The transmitting UE may reduce persistent collisions of periodic or semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) reservation of the sidelink resources with another UE. The transmitting UE may transmit, to a receiving UE, sidelink control information (SCI) indicating the first offset and the plurality of sidelink transmissions via the plurality of periodic sidelink resources at the first periodicity based on the SCI. The receiving UE may receive, from the transmitting UE, the SCI and the plurality of sidelink transmissions via the plurality of periodic sidelink resources at the first periodicity based on the SCI.

The first sidelink device may perform a ranging session on a first sidelink connection with a second sidelink device to obtain a first propagation delay between the first sidelink device and the second sidelink device. The first device may generate a first corrected absolute time for the second sidelink device based at least in part on the absolute time and the first propagation delay such that the second sidelink device will also have the absolute time. The first sidelink device may transmit the first corrected absolute time to the second sidelink device in a first message on the first sidelink connection. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for improved machine learning training process. Input data for a first portion of a neural network is accessed, and output data is generated based on processing the input data using the first portion of the neural network. At a first point in time, the output data is transmitted to a second computing system for the second computing system to update one or more parameters of a second portion of the neural network based on the output data. It is determined, at a second point in time subsequent to the first point in time, that one or more communication criteria are not satisfied. In response to the determining, reduced communication training of the neural network is performed, the performing comprising reducing an amount of data transmitted for one or more rounds of training.

Abstract: Techniques for wireless communications are described. A first device may receive first control signaling that may indicate a second device in a wireless communications system. The first device may then identify, based on the received first control signaling, a set of devices for tracking the second device in the wireless communications system. In some examples, the first device may then transmit second control signaling to the identified set of devices for tracking the second device in the wireless communications system. The first device may then receive, based on the transmitted second control signaling, coordination information from the set of devices. The received coordination information may be associated with the second device. The coordination information collected by the set of devices may be used to predict changes in an environment surrounding the second device. By predicting dynamic changes in the environment, disruptions in wireless communication may be prevented.

Abstract: A transmitting sidelink device assigns a transport block (TB) to a logical hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) entity, maps the TB to an carrier, transmits the TB to a receiving sidelink device, the TB is associated with a first sidelink control information (SCI) that cross-references the TB to an identifier of the logical HARQ entity, maps the TB to a different carrier, and retransmits the TB on the different carrier, the retransmitted TB is associated with a second SCI that cross-references the TB to the identifier of the logical HARQ entity. A receiving sidelink device receives the TB and SCI, maps the TB to the identified logical HARQ entity, detects the retransmission, and maps the retransmission to the identified logical HARQ entity. A transmitting sidelink device generates packets in advance and transmits one of the generated packets when required.
