Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To reduce peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) associated with transmissions in a wireless communications system, a user equipment (UE) may implement tone reservation techniques. The UE may receive downlink control information from a base station that indicates a set of allocated resources that the UE is to use for the tone reservation. The UE may identify a first set of tones of the set of allocated resources for transmitting a data signal and a second set of tones of the set of allocated resources for transmitting a peak-reduction signal that reduces the peak power of the data signal. The UE may transmit the data signal and the peak-reduction signal based on the received downlink control information.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for dynamically adjusting the access link timing alignment at the integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node. Specifically, features of the present disclosure provide techniques for signaling to one or more child nodes the timing advance and timing offset values associated with each operational mode of the IAB node that may impact the access link timing for the child node (for uplink and/or downlink transmissions). Additionally or alternatively, aspects of the present disclosure identify whether a gap period may be included in order to ensure that the child node has sufficient time to transition between states during the transition period (e.g., from downlink to uplink) when the IAB node dynamically adjusts the access link timing.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for beam switching by a repeater node that forwards communications from one of a first node or a second node to the other of the first node or the second node. For example, after a change of position by the second node, the first node may provide the repeater node an instruction to perform a beam change operation to communicate with the second node. In some aspects, performing the beam change operation by the repeater node may improve reliability of wireless communications, such as by focusing signal energy in a particular direction. Further, a beam change delay time interval or a scheduling of the beam change delay time interval may be selected based on scheduling associated with other nodes, which may reduce a number of messages sent to the repeater node (such as by reducing instructions to change beam directions).

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for block feedback of multiple semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasions. Block feedback may be provided based on variable feedback timing values that are associated with one or more SPS occasions. A user equipment (UE) may determine feedback for each of two or more SPS occasions, and transmit a block feedback that indicates the feedback. A separate feedback timing between a SPS occasion and uplink feedback resources may be provided for multiple SPS occasions, which are associated with a single uplink feedback resource. Alternatively, a minimum feedback timing value and a maximum feedback timing value may be configured for a particular uplink resource, and block feedback for multiple SPS occasions within the minimum and maximum feedback timing values may be reported in the uplink feedback resource.

Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for facilitating sidelink cancellation. A network entity, such as a base station, may schedule a sidelink transmission between a transmitting wireless communication device and a receiving wireless communication device and transmit scheduling information for the sidelink transmission to at least the transmitting wireless communication device. The network entity may further transmit control information including a cancellation indication to at least the transmitting UE.
