Abstract:
To provide an image display control device capable of displaying a process for switching images in a manner readily recognizable by an observer when sequentially displaying a plurality of images on a display device. An image display control device displays a first image at a predetermined position in a predetermined display area, then repetitively carries out a process for producing and displaying a first transitional image in which the first image is displayed at a first display position in the display area, with brightness lowered for at least a partial area in the display area, while moving the first display position in a direction going away from the predetermined position, then repetitively carries out a process for producing and displaying a second transitional image in which a second image is displayed at a second display position in the display area, with the brightness lowered for at least the partial area in the display area, while moving the second display position in a direction approaching the predetermined position, and thereafter displays the second image at the predetermined position.
Abstract:
An MRI apparatus is provided in which a heat quantity penetrating into the helium tank of a superconducting magnet can be grasped to select a cryo-cooler to be incorporated, whereby consumption of liquid helium is suppressed and a static magnetic field is generated stably. The superconducting magnet includes a superconducting coil, containers 209 and 203 for accommodating the superconducting coil and a refrigerant, a cooler 208 for liquefy gas once again, the gas having been obtained by vaporizing the refrigerant in the containers, and a means for measuring the amount of vaporized refrigerant, while keeping the pressure in the containers at a constant level. The heat quantity penetrating into the containers and the coolability of the cooler are measured accurately, thereby enabling a combination in which the coolability of the cooler to be combined has capacity more than the heat penetration amount.
Abstract:
An MRI apparatus having an open structure includes a static magnetic field generating magnet including magnetic field generating sources arranged above and below an imaging space and magnetic field fluctuation reducing plates arranged inside the magnet. Gradient magnetic field coils are fixed to the static magnetic field generating magnet so as to not be in contact with the magnetic field fluctuation reducing plates. When the strength of the magnetic field generated by the static magnetic field generating magnet fluctuates due to vibration of the gradient magnetic field coils or other devices during an imaging operation of the MRI apparatus, an eddy current is generated on the magnetic field fluctuation reducing plates in response to the magnetic field fluctuation components. Magnetic flux which cancels the static magnetic field fluctuation components is generated due to this eddy current, and consequently, a time-sequentially stable static magnetic field can be obtained.
Abstract:
To reduce vibration and noise generated in supplying pulsatile current to the gradient magnetic field coil for driving that coil in a MRI apparatus, an active shielded gradient magnetic field coil is used, in which the gradient magnetic field coil is supported by and fixed to the static magnetic field generating magnet. The supporter for supporting this gradient magnetic field coil in non-contact does not prevent the interventional procedure performed by a doctor. Further, an eddy current generated on the surface of the static magnetic field generating magnet near the periphery of the gradient magnetic field coil, when supplying the pulsatile current to the gradient magnetic field coil, can be reduced.
Abstract:
A method of assembling a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes stacking a plurality of segments of a first plate member and connecting the segments together to thereby assemble the first plate member, fixing a plurality of segments of support-post members to the first plate member and connecting the support-post segments to thereby assemble the support-post members, providing a magnet device assembly by connecting a first magnet device and a second magnet device together by a connection pipe, fixing the magnet device assembly to the first plate member and to the support-post members and sequentially fixing and stacking a plurality of segments of a second plate member on the second magnet device to thereby assemble the second plate member.
Abstract:
A person to be inspected lies on his back on the tabletop of the patient table. The person is moved together with the tabletop so that the head of the person which is the inspection part, coincides with almost the center of the superconductive magnet. A control circuit controls the operations of a power source for a gradient magnetic field and a radio frequency transmission and reception circuit. The control circuit furthermore outputs a control signal to a light emitter control circuit, which controls a light emitter, which emits light in a predetermined color into a magnet space so as to change the quantity of light and color tone in the magnet space. Light emission and the magnetic resonance inspection sequence are synchronized with each other. An type of irritation may be given to the person to be inspected, such a by sound, heat, or electric signal, in place of light.
Abstract:
A quadrature detection device for magnetic resonance imaging includes a pair of probes each having a pair of first conductors with a vertical arm and wings formed at both ends of the vertical arm and guard rings disposed inside the wings to oppose them and predetermined capacitors. In each probe, the resonance characteristics of the probe has two peaks. Symmetry of the peak existing in the resonance frequency range is effected by spacing the peak existing in a frequency range other than the resonance frequency range apart from the former. Thus, uniformity of the resulting image can be improved. The drop of the Q value of the probe is prevented by shifting the former peak to a higher frequency range than the latter peak. Also, electric symmetry of the probe is maintained.
Abstract:
Provided is an information processing apparatus including a novel user interface capable of switching a number of images for display on a screen. The information processing apparatus displays a menu image representing one or more menu item images on a screen, displays, when any one of the one or more menu item images is selected, a selection target image associated with the selected menu item image on the screen, stores a selected order of already-selected ones of the one or more menu item images, displays, when one direction along one side of the screen is specified, another selection target image, which is selected in accordance with the stored selected order and the one direction, and redisplays the menu image when an opposite direction to the one direction is specified in a state in which the selection target image associated with the menu image selected most recently is displayed.
Abstract:
An example game system includes a game apparatus and an operating device. The game apparatus acquires operation data from the operating device. Moreover, the game apparatus executes an application and outputs an image generated by the execution of the application to either the operating device or a predetermined display device different from the operating device, or both. When a predetermined operation is performed on the operating device during the execution of the application, a predetermined operation image is displayed on a display unit of the operating device. In a state where the operation image is displayed on the display unit, the game apparatus determines whether or not a control instruction has been provided to control the predetermined display device, on the basis of the operation data. When the control instruction is determined to have been provided, the predetermined display device is controlled in accordance with the control instruction.
