Abstract: A wireless power transmission method by a wireless power transmission apparatus, according to an embodiment of the present specification, comprises: a ping step for transmitting a digital ping and receiving a response to the digital ping from a wireless power reception apparatus; a configuration step for receiving, from the wireless power reception apparatus, a configuration packet including information about elements of an initial power transmission contract; a contract step for receiving, from the wireless power reception apparatus, information about an element of an expanded power transmission contract for updating the initial power transmission contract to the expanded power transmission contract; and a power transmission step for transmitting wireless power to the wireless power reception apparatus, on the basis of the expanded power transmission contract, and receiving, from the wireless power reception apparatus, first control information for control of the wireless power, wherein the response to the digital ping and the configuration packet are received via in-band communication based on a power signal of the wireless power, and the first control information is received via out-band communication that is wireless communication different from the in-band communication.

Abstract: The present specification relates to a device and method for supporting heterogeneous communication in a wireless power transfer system. The present specification discloses a wireless power reception device comprising: a power pickup circuit configured to receive, from a wireless power transfer device, wireless power generated on the basis of magnetic coupling in a power transfer phase; and a communication and control circuit configured to transmit, to the wireless power transfer device, a first random address packet including a random address of the wireless power reception device or receive, from the wireless power transfer device, a second random address packet including a random address of the wireless power transfer device via in-band communication. By performing a handover using a random address, cross reference can be prevented and security can be enhanced, and thus a BLE connection in a wireless charging system can be more safely performed.

Abstract: The present specification provides a method for performing a user authentication of a first client device using a server device in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method performed by the server device comprises the steps of: broadcasting a first advertisement message for a connection with a first client; establishing a connection with the first client device; receiving, from the first client device, a first request message requesting at least one authentication method supported by the server device; transmitting, to the first client device, a first response message including first authentication method information associated with the at least one authentication method; receiving, from the first client device, a setup message including second authentication method information associated with one or more authentication methods of the at least one authentication method; and transmitting, to the first client device, a second response message including a first user authentication service (UAS) registration identifier, wherein the first UAS registration identifier indicates the first client device which performs the one or more authentication methods and a user authentication through the one or more authentication methods. Accordingly, the present specification has an effect of easily performing high security user authentication with a client device through a server device.

In this case, the Wi-Fi interface may be turned on based on the advertising packet, and information related to the Wi-Fi interface may be exchanged through the first and second messages.
