The method computer program products, and systems can include, for instance: examining data of a plurality of traveling users, wherein at least some of the plurality of traveling users have associated mobile client computer devices, and determining, by machine logic, based on the examining that certain traveling users of the plurality of traveling users are traveling in a group; deciding, by machine logic, based on the determining that one or more action is to be performed, wherein the deciding is in dependence on a processing of historical data, the historical data specifying activities of the certain traveling users when the certain traveling users travel in a group; and providing one or more output for performance of the one or more action.

Abstract: A method and system for automatically characterizing retail zones is provided. The method includes determining, via a mobile device of a user, that a user has entered a first zone of a plurality of zones internal to a first entity structure. Product information is scanned via the mobile device in response to the user locating a first product. The product information describes the first product. Historical product and zone related data is analyzed with respect to the first zone and the product information and it is determined, based on the analysis, if the first product is currently associated with being located within the first zone.

In embodiments, a computer-implemented method comprises: detecting, by a computer device, the presence of a mobile device of a participant within a venue during a first event; monitoring, by the computing device, the location of the mobile device of the participant within the venue during the first event; detecting, by the computing device, at least one interaction event between the participant and a venue associate; recording, by the computing device, first event data including interaction event data; detecting, by the computing device, the presence of the mobile device of the participant within the venue during a second event; determining, by the computing device, one or more customer service parameters based on the first event data; and generating, by the computing device, an alert based on the one or more customer service parameters.

Abstract: In a computer system for navigating to a location in recorded content, a computer receives a descriptive term or phrase associated with a searchable tag. The searchable tag corresponds to a point-in-time at which a non-speech sound occurred during the recording of recorded content of a communication between a plurality of participants. The recorded content includes speech from one or more of the plurality of participants, the descriptive term includes an automatically generated phonetic translation of the non-speech sound, and the non-speech sound was transmitted to the plurality of participants during the recording. The computer navigates to a location in the recorded content corresponding to the point-in-time at which the non-speech sound occurred.
