Abstract: Embodiments provide a resource scheduling method, which can support reduction of transmission resource overheads in resource scheduling. The method is applied to a wireless local area network, where a next generation protocol followed by the wireless local area network predefines locations of resource units possibly allocated from a to-be-assigned frequency domain resource. The method includes: generating, by a sending end, resource scheduling information, where the resource scheduling information includes a bit sequence to indicate an actual allocation of a resource unit(s) from the to-be-assigned frequency domain resource, and at least some bits in the bit sequence are to indicate whether one or more of said resource unit locations possibly allocated for the to-be-assigned frequency domain resource is\are the actually allocated resource unit(s).

Abstract: A method includes generating, by an apparatus, a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) for a downlink multiple-user transmission, wherein the PPDU includes: a legacy preamble, a high efficiency Wi-Fi Signaling Field 1 (HEW-SIG1), a high efficiency Wi-Fi Signaling Field 2 (HEW-SIG2), adjacent to the HEW-SIG1, and a data portion, and wherein the HEW-SIG1 comprises a HEW-SIG2 modulation and coding scheme (HEW-SIG2 MCS) field, the HEW-SIG2 MCS field indicates a transmission modulation and coding scheme (MCS) used to transmit the HEW-SIG2, the HEW-SIG1 further comprises a frame structure indication field, and the frame structure indication field indicates whether a frame structure of a scheduling transmission is an uplink structure or a downlink structure, and the HEW-SIG2 comprises resource indication information; and sending, by the apparatus, the PPDU.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for indicating a channel in a wireless local area network WLAN. A sending station generates and sends a physical protocol data unit PPDU, the PPDU includes a preamble field and a data field, a high efficiency signal field HE-SIG-A of the preamble field includes a bandwidth identifier and a channel bonding identifier, and the channel bonding identifier is used to indicate whether a data transmission channel is continuous in a frequency domain. In the foregoing manner, a discontinuous channel in a frequency domain in a wireless local area network is indicated, an available channel for data transmission is improved, and a system throughput is increased.

Abstract: A pilot sequence sending method and apparatus are provided. In the disclosure, after first-time masking is performed on a pilot sequence based on a cyclic orthogonal matrix, second-time masking is performed on the pilot sequence on which first-time masking has been performed, so that a PAPR of the pilot sequence on which second-time masking has been performed is less than a PAPR of the pilot sequence on which first-time masking has been performed, and further, orthogonality of the pilot sequence on which second-time masking has been performed can be higher than that of the pilot sequence on which first-time masking has been performed. This ensures accuracy of channel estimation and frequency offset detection.

Abstract: A method includes generating, by an access point (AP), signaling that includes an AP identifier (ID) field, a bandwidth (BW) field, a guard interval (GI) field, a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) field, and a tail field, the AP ID field is used to indicate an ID of the AP, the BW field is used to indicate bandwidth required for data transmission subsequent to the signaling, the GI is used to indicate a length of a cyclic prefix (CP) required for data transmission subsequent to the signaling, the CRC field is used to guard a field before the CRC field in the signaling, and the Tail field is used to empty an encoder and a decoder, where the CRC field and the Tail field are the last two fields of the signaling. The method also includes sending, by the AP, the signaling.
