摘要: A truss rod adjustment device includes a truss rod gear assembly, an adjustment gear assembly and a base. The truss rod gear assembly includes an end shaped to fit in and engage a truss rod wrench socket attached to a neck of a guitar. The adjustment gear assembly includes an adjustment socket shaped to receive and engage a wrench. The base attaches to the neck of the guitar and holds the truss rod gear assembly in position to engage the truss rod wrench socket. The base also holds the adjustment gear assembly in position both to engage the truss rod assembly gear assembly and to position the adjustment socket to be accessible through a hole in a back of the guitar.

摘要: A ramp assembly for providing a transition surface between a vehicle floor and an alighting surface is disclosed. The ramp assembly includes a ramp portion that is rotatable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A sensor senses an angle of the ramp portion relative to a horizontal plane and provides a sensor output that corresponds to the angle of the ramp portion relative to the horizontal plane. The ramp assembly further includes a controller that receives the sensor output and an alert device. The controller controls the alert device to provide an alert when the angle of the ramp portion relative to the horizontal plane reaches a predetermined value.

摘要: A catheter shaft includes an inner layer of a first polymeric material, an intermediate layer of a second polymeric material, an outer layer of a third polymeric material, a first wire reinforcing layer encapsulated between the inner and intermediate layers, and a second wire reinforcing layer encapsulated between the outer and intermediate layers. Typically, the first wire reinforcing layer includes one or more metallic wires helically wound in one direction and the second wire reinforcing layer includes one or more metallic wires helically wound in the opposite direction. The intermediate layer is bonded to the inner and outer layers, as by extruding layers over one another or by thermal lamination or reflow bonding. Typically, the intermediate layer has a larger yield strain and/or a lower flexural modulus and/or a lower durometer than at least one of the inner layer and the outer layer.

摘要: A system and method for determining the genetic data for one or a small set of cells, or from fragmentary DNA, where a limited quantity of genetic data is available, are disclosed. Genetic data for the target individual is acquired and amplified using known methods, and poorly measured base pairs, missing alleles and missing regions are reconstructed using expected similarities between the target genome and the genome of genetically related subjects. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, incomplete genetic data is acquired from embryonic cells, fetal cells, or cell-free fetal DNA isolated from the mother's blood, and the incomplete genetic data is reconstructed using the more complete genetic data from a larger sample diploid cells from one or both parents, with or without genetic data from haploid cells from one or both parents, and/or genetic data taken from other related individuals.

摘要: A high-current Multi-Port USB hub has a microcontroller that selectively switches the hub between low current synchronizing state and high current charging state. During charging state in excess of two Amps of current can be provided to each device connected to the hub. Each USB port circuit includes a power FET to selectively provide current to the USB port according to the state of the hub. Current sensors on each of the USB ports detects an amount of current being drawn by a device connected to the USB port. Each USB port is provided with indicators to indicate the charged state of the device connected to that port. The charge state of the device is also provided to the microcontroller which provides a summary status indication of the set of devices connected to the USB hub.

摘要: A catheter is disclosed that has a detachable tip for delivery of a therapeutic substance to a chronic total occlusion (CTO) within a body vessel. The tip is made from a biodegradable material and includes an active agent dispersed therethrough. The detachable tip pierces into the calcified lesion, detaches from the catheter, and remains embedded within the lesion as the tip degrades, thereby releasing the active agent. The active agent is a therapeutic substance effective to treat of a CTO. The active agent may be a drug, an enzyme, bacteria, or a parasite that degrades or softens the calcified lesion.

摘要: The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for reducing aspect ratio dependent etching that is observed when plasma etching deep trenches in a semiconductor substrate through an alternating deposition/etch process. A plurality of different sized features on the substrate are monitored in real time during the alternating deposition/etch process. Then, based on the information received from the monitor, at least one process parameter is adjusted in the alternating deposition/etch process to achieve equivalent etch depths of at least two different sized features on the substrate.

摘要: A ramp assembly includes a ramp portion configured for reciprocating motion between a stowed position, a deployed position, and a neutral position. The ramp assembly further includes a counterbalance that provides a force to bias the ramp portion toward the stowed position when the ramp portion is between the deployed position and the neutral position, and toward the deployed position when the ramp portion is between the stowed position and the neutral position. A shaft rotates in a first direction when the ramp portion moves toward the stowed position, and in a second direction opposite the first direction when the ramp portion moves toward the deployed position. A crank is fixedly coupled to the shaft. A rod is rotatably coupled at a first end to the crank about a first axis and at a second end to a cylinder. The cylinder is coupled for rotational movement about a second axis.
