    摘要: A slip casting mold includes a water absorption layer having self water absorption capability and substantial water resistance. With the water saturation percentage of the water absorption layer being controlled, a slurry layer is deposited in the slip casting mold mainly under capillary attractive forces of the slip casting mold. The water absorption layer comprises an open porous body which is manufactured by stirring a mixture of an epoxy compound having at least one epoxy ring in one molecule, a hardener for reacting with the epoxy compound to harden the epoxy compound, a filler for developing self water absorption capability and mold releasability, and water into an O/W-type emulsion slurry, and casting the emulsion slurry into a mold impermeable to water, hardening the emulsion slurry in the mold while containing water.

    摘要: A control system for a torque converter includes a lockup clutch provided in the converter for connecting input and output shafts of the torque converter directly. The lockup clutch includes an engaging chamber and a releasing chamber. The control system further includes a lockup shift valve for selectively switching communication between a fluid line, having a predetermined pressure, and the engaging chamber and communication between the fluid line and the releasing chamber. A lockup control valve is provided for controlling a pressure difference between fluid pressures in the engaging chamber and the releasing chamber and a control valve is provided for controlling the lockup clutch so that it engages completely. A first on-off solenoid valve controls the lockup shift valve, a duty solenoid valve controls the lockup control valve, and a second on-off solenoid valve controls the control valve.

    摘要: A method of producing a porous material having open pores comprises the steps of preparing an emulsion slurry by vigorously agitating a mixture comprising (i) a glycidyl type epoxy resin, (ii) a first hardener selected from the group consisting of modified polyamine hardeners each being prepared by modifying a polyamine hardener with a modifier, amine hardeners and mixtures thereof, (iii) a second hardener selected from the group consisting of polyamide hardeners, (iv) a filler and (v) water, casting said slurry in a water-impermeable mold, and hardening said slurry while it contains water. A large size molded product having a complicated contour and having open pores whose average pore diameter ranges from 0.2 to 10 microns can be produced with high dimensional accuracy.

    摘要: A method of making a mold used in a pressure slip casting process, including the steps of: preparing at least two porous bodies each defining a filter layer having a plurality of channels formed therein for allowing water and air to flow therethrough; placing a reinforcing iron frame and one of the porous bodies on a bottom board with a parting agent applied to its surface; applying a sealing resin to the surface of the other porous body opposite to a molding surface thereof and to a portion of the surface of the bottom board between the box and the porous body; filling up the space between one of the porous bodies and the reinforcing iron frame with a filler; and preparing a second part of the pressure mold. This second part preparing step includes the sub-steps of: turning the first part upside down together with the one porous body and the reinforcing iron frame to direct its parting face upward and applying a parting agent to the parting face; overlaying the other of the porous bodies on the one porous body; overlaying a second reinforcing iron frame on the first reinforcing iron frame; applying an adhesive to the sealing resin and the inner side of the overlaid second reinforcing iron frame after the sealing resin has cured; filling up the space between the overlaid second iron frame and the other porous body with filler; and parting the second part from the first part after the filler has cured.

    摘要: A pressure control apparatus, which can be used for a braking force magnification apparatus for a vehicle or a door closing and opening apparatus includes a sensor for sensing a pressure within a vacuum booster. The sensor is of a transfer-contact-type including a medial movable contact and two stationary contacts. The movable contact makes contact with one of the stationary contacts connected to an alarm lamp but breaks contact with the other connected through a control circuit to a DC motor connected to a vacuum pump or a compressor when the absolute gauge pressure produced by the vacuum pump or compressor is below a first predetermined threshold value. The movable contact breaks contact with the one stationary contact to energize the DC motor when the absolute gauge pressure is below a second predetermined threshold value but is above the first one. When the absolute gauge pressure is above the second predetermined threshold value, the movable contact makes contact with the other contact to deenergize the DC motor.
