    Abstract: The exemplary embodiments herein disclose an electronic display assembly using a monolithic electronic display panel with a single video player in electrical connection with a single timing and control board (TCON) which is in electrical connection with the monolithic electronic display panel. The single video player and TCON are adapted to transmit a combination of both still images and full motion video to be shown simultaneously on the electronic display. Different areas of the display can be used to show different content, either video or still images. Bezels can be graphically generated between the images, which can change shape, location, or be removed altogether as the display content changes.

    Abstract: A system and method for preventing image retention in an electronic display. A time threshold (TT) and a pixel threshold (PT) may be defined. The system preferably performs a checksum calculation of all pixel data within an active image area of the electronic display for an interval of time until reaching TT. The system may then compare the checksum calculation for each interval of time to determine if the change in pixel data is less than PT. Preferably, the system will perform an image retention prevention method for the active image area if the change in pixel data is less than PT. Generally, this is performed by transmitting alternate pixel data to the electronic display.

    Abstract: An apparatus for cooling an electronic image assembly with ambient gas and circulating gas is disclosed. A first fan may be positioned to force the circulating gas around the electronic image assembly in a closed loop while a second fan may be positioned to cause a flow of ambient gas. A structure is preferably positioned to allow the circulating gas to cross the flow of the ambient gas while substantially prohibiting the circulating gas from mixing with the ambient gas. A pair of manifolds may be placed along the sides of the electronic image assembly and may be in gaseous communication with a plurality of channels placed behind the electronic image assembly. A heat exchanger may be used in some exemplary embodiments.

    Abstract: The embodiments herein provide a device for sealing an interface having an opening for a wire to pass through the interface. A pair of sealing blocks may be used where one block contains a protrusion and the opposing block contains a recess. The protrusion and recess preferably have an apex with a round having approximately the same dimension as the radius of the wire. A pair of posts may be positioned on opposing sides of the opening. One sealing block may contain an aperture for accepting one of the posts while the second sealing block may contain an aperture for accepting the opposing post. The posts may be threaded so that they can accept a threaded fastener. Exemplary embodiments may utilize mounting plates which may contain a flange such that squeezing the opposing flanges together can cause inward forces on the sealing blocks.
