Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a data message to a user equipment (UE) in a data block modulated according to a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The UE may monitor for the data block and may attempt to decode the data block. If the UE successfully receives and decodes the data block, the UE may transmit an acknowledgment (ACK) in a feedback message. If the UE unsuccessfully receives or decodes the data block, the UE may transmit a negative acknowledgement (NACK). The UE may transmit the feedback message with the ACK or NACK and a value from a codebook indicating for the base station to increase or decrease the MCS by a delta value for a following transmission or a retransmission.

In some aspects, a user equipment may detect a collision between a physical uplink control channel and a plurality of physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) with a corresponding plurality of media access control (MAC) priorities, selectively applying a MAC prioritization rule for processing the plurality of PUSCHs based at least in part on the corresponding plurality of MAC priorities and based at least in part on an effect of the plurality of MAC priorities on an uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing configuration for UCI multiplexing, and selectively transmitting at least one of the plurality of PUSCHs with the UCI based at least in part on a result of selectively applying the MAC prioritization rule. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource set determination for multiplexing uplink control information (UCI) messages of different priorities in a wireless communication system. In particular, a user equipment (UE) determines to multiplex a high-priority (HP) UCI message of a first size and a low-priority (LP) UCI message of a second size for a multiplexed PUCCH based on a reference UCI payload size different from a sum of the first and second sizes. The reference UCI payload size is based on a sum of the first size and the second size with a weight factor applied to the first size, second size, or both, or is based on a sum of the first size and a reference second size. The resource set from which the multiplexed PUCCH resource is selected is determined based on the reference UCI payload size.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support sub-slot based Type-1 hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback codebook generation. In aspects, techniques are provided for generating a set of candidate physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception occasions for an active bandwidth part (BWP) of a downlink (DL) serving cell. In aspects, a user equipment (UE) obtains a set of UL sub-slots based, at least in part, on a set of K1 values, and then determines, for each UL sub-slot in the set of UL sub-slots, whether the UL sub-slots satisfy a predetermined overlapping condition with a current DL slot. A PDSCH reception occasions set is generated based, at least in part, on a set of time domain resource allocation (TDRA) candidates of the current DL slot and a determination that a current UL sub-slot satisfies the predetermined overlapping condition with the current DL slot.

Abstract: Aspects are provided allowing for selective monitoring of uplink cancellation indication (ULCI) occasions by UEs and allowing UEs to determine from ULCI whether canceled uplink transmission are carried on non-supplementary uplink (NUL) carriers or supplementary uplink (SUL) carriers. A UE may determine not to monitor a ULCI occasion if it does not have an uplink transmission which can be punctured by higher priority data. When the uplink transmission is dynamically scheduled, the UE may determine to monitor a ULCI occasion if the UE receives the uplink grant a certain number of symbols earlier than the ULCI occasion. The base station may configure blocks in downlink control information to indicate the UE should apply ULCI to SUL and/or NUL. The base station may configure the UE to perform different behaviors after receiving a ULCI depending on whether the portion of the uplink transmission to be canceled is on SUL or NUL.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor for a first transmission of a first service type (e.g., enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB)) and a second transmission of a second service type (e.g., ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC)). The UE may identify a feedback codebook size for the first service type. The UE may multiplex a first feedback codebook having the identified feedback codebook size and generated for the first transmission with a second feedback codebook generated for the second transmission. Multiplexing the first and second feedback codebooks may produce a multiplexed feedback codebook. In some cases, the UE may perform the multiplexing based on a feedback multiplexing condition being satisfied. The UE may transmit the multiplexed feedback codebook in a control channel (e.g., a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH)) or a shared data channel (e.g., a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH)).

A shared data channel including the uplink control information can be generated based at least in part on the beta offset, and transmitted over the shared data channel resources.
