Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques to achieve inter-base station beam management to avoid interference during full-duplex (FD) operations, half-duplex (HD) operations, flexible time-domain duplexing (TDD), or a combination thereof, by performing interference management specific to beam configurations. For example, a first base station (e.g., an aggressor base station operating in FD) may perform one or more actions to proactively determine if inter-base station interference may occur. In some cases, the aggressor base station may request measurements from one or more victim base stations. In other examples, the victim base station may request measurements from the aggressor base station. Additionally or alternatively, the victim base station may provide reactive feedback to the aggressor base station upon detecting interference.

Abstract: A network device is provided with excessive interference mitigation. In one implementation, the network device transmits a notification of the excessive interference to a network entity. In another implementation, the network device changes a receive beam or begins to acquire a new cell in response to a detection of the excessive interference. In yet another implementation, the network device alerts a user in response to a detection of the excessive interference.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An assistive node may include circuitry for operating in an amplifying mode and operating in a reflecting mode. The assistive node may transmit a message to a network entity indicating that the assistive node is capable of operating in an amplifying mode or a reflecting mode. The network entity may transmit scheduling information to the assistive node for a packet transmission to be reflected or amplified by the assistive node to a wireless device, for example, because a direct path between the network entity and the wireless device is blocked. The network entity may transmit control signaling to the assistive node configuring the assistive node to either reflect or amplify the packet transmission to the wireless device. The assistive node may reflect or amplify the packet transmission to the wireless device based on the control signaling.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, first one or more wireless devices may receive or obtain a set of reference signals from second one or more wireless devices. The first one or more wireless devices may estimate a set of channel state information parameters, where each channel state parameter is based on a respective reference signal of the set of reference signals. The first one or more wireless devices may output or transmit a set of transmissions, where each transmission of the set of transmissions is based on a different gain parameter of the set of gain parameters, where each gain parameter of the set of gain parameters is based on a different channel state information parameter, and where each gain parameter of the set of gain parameters is less than a first threshold and greater than a second threshold.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some examples, an energy transfer device may indicate timing information for backscattering a signal. The energy transfer device may transmit, to an energy harvesting device, a message including timing information that indicates when the energy harvesting device is to begin backscattering of a wireless signal. The energy transfer device may transmit the wireless signal. The energy harvesting device may monitor for and receive the wireless signal based on the message. The energy harvesting device may transmit a backscattered signal based on application of a backscattering function to the wireless signal in accordance with the timing information.
