Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a first network node, configuration information indicating a layer 1/layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM) candidate cell associated with a second network node and a configuration, for the LTM candidate cell, of uplink resources associated with a plurality of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The UE may transmit, to the first network node, layer 1 (L1) measurements associated with the LTM candidate cell. The UE may receive, from the first network node, an LTM medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) triggering LTM to the LTM candidate cell, the LTM MAC-CE indicating a TCI state. The UE may transmit, to the second network node via the LTM candidate cell, an uplink communication on an uplink resource associated with the TCI state. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may obtain high-priority data (e.g., low latency data) to be transmitted to a base station. In some scenarios, the base station may be transmitting downlink transmissions to the UE or to a different UE, or may be receiving uplink transmissions from the UE or from the different UE. The described aspects enable the UE to timely transmit the high-priority data in these scenarios. In one example, the described aspects enable the UE to transmit, to the base station, while the base station performs one or more scheduled downlink transmissions to the UE or to the different UE, at least one of the high-priority data via a first uplink beam from a set of uplink beams for unscheduled uplink transmissions or an unscheduled data indication indicating that the high-priority data is to be transmitted without an uplink grant.
