    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method includes selecting a first secure physical uplink channel and a second secure physical uplink channel for multiplexing based on the first secure physical uplink channel and second secure physical uplink channel overlapping, generating a secret key based on selecting the first secure physical uplink channel and the second secure physical uplink channel for multiplexing in accordance with the first secure physical uplink channel overlapping the second secure physical uplink channel in time, generating multiplexed information based on multiplexing the first secure physical uplink channel and the second secure physical uplink channel, and encrypting the multiplexed information based on the secret key.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for fast adaptation of transmission properties of sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration information, configuring the UE with one or more SRS resource sets, wherein each of the one or more SRS resource sets comprises one or more SRS resources; receiving signaling comprising a field indicating which of the one or more SRS resources in the one or more SRS resource sets are active and which of the one or more SRS resources in the one or more SRS resources sets are inactive; and transmitting one or more SRSs using only the one or more SRS resources that are active.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for indicating modulation order and code rate for transmissions between a user equipment (UE) and a base station. The base station may configure one or more parameter tables that provide mapping between a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index and the modulation order and code rate. The one or more tables may be explicitly indicated in configuration signaling, may be configured based on a frequency range for communications or a reference signal configuration, or any combinations thereof. The base station may transmit control information to the UE that indicates the MCS index value and that indicates a first table of multiple configured tables is to be used to determine the modulation order and code rate.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, signaling indicating a channel state information (CSI) report configuration. The CSI report configuration may indicate a mapping between one or more CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources or one or more CSI-RS port groups and one or more antenna panels or antenna subpanels of the base station. The UE may generate CSI feedback based on the mapping. In some cases, the UE may generate the CSI feedback based on multiple hypotheses that correspond to CSI-RS measurements. In some examples, the multiple hypotheses may include a set of hypothesis groups based on one or more antenna panels or antenna subpanels of the base station. The UE may transmit a message reporting the CSI feedback to the base station.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling that configures a downlink bandwidth for a broadcast channel transmission (e.g., a physical downlink control channel transmission). The UE may determine a bandwidth of the capability is less than the downlink bandwidth, and monitor search space occasions in a period to receive samples of the broadcast channel. The period and the search space occasions may be associated with a control resource set and a search space set. The UE may receive the samples in non-overlapping subbands of the bandwidth according to the bandwidth capability, and detect the broadcast channel based on the samples. The UE may additionally monitor repeated transmission occasions in the period based on detecting the broadcast channel to detect a second broadcast channel (e.g., a physical downlink shared channel).
