    Abstract: A configuration to enable a UE to transmit an enhanced preamble to initiate a RACH procedure to improve coverage of PRACH without an excessive increase in usage of PRACH resources. The apparatus transmits, to a base station, a preamble to initiate a RACH procedure. The apparatus monitors for at least one RAR, from the base station, during a RAR window in response to the transmitted preamble. The apparatus transmits, to the base station, an enhanced preamble to initiate the RACH procedure if the at least one RAR is not received during the RAR window.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for handling a reception when another scheduled transmission is canceled. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive a message from a base station scheduling a first reception for the UE on first resources. The UE may receive a first indicator scheduling a first transmission from the UE on second resources that at least partially overlap with the first resources. The UE may receive a second indicator cancelling the first transmission in a region that partially or fully overlaps the second resources. The UE may determine whether to receive the first reception on the first resources. The UE may transmit an acknowledgment indicating a reception status of the first reception in response to determining to receive the first reception. The base station may determine whether the acknowledgment indicates a reception status of the first reception.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to implementing a non-dropping rule for mini-slot based repetition of downlink channel data or control. In one example, cancelled repetition may be identified, non-cancelled remaining repetitions may be received, and acknowledgment feedback based on reception results may be generated. In another example, a plurality of time domain resource allocation (TDRA) candidate occasions may be identified where each occasion occurs within a different respective one of a plurality of mini-slots, each mini-slot carrying a different respective one of a plurality of downlink channel repetitions. A TDRA table may be maintained. The TDRA table may include TDRA entries such as location information of the plurality of TDRA candidate occasions associated with the plurality of downlink channel repetitions. The TDRA table may be maintained when at least one of the plurality of downlink channel repetitions is not decoded. A wireless communication device may refrain from dropping non-decoded downlink channel repetitions.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information (DCI) including an antenna port field and a transmission configuration indication (TCI) field for scheduling a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The TCI field may indicate that two or more reference signals apply to two or more demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports across all resource blocks and symbols for the PDSCH for at least one transmission layer of the PDSCH. The antenna port field may indicate a plurality of indicated DMRS ports. The UE may map two or more DMRS ports of the indicated DMRS ports to at least one transmission layer of the PDSCH. The UE may receive the at least one transmission layer of the PDSCH as a single-frequency-network (SFN) transmission based on the two or more reference signals and the two or more DMRS ports.

    Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information (DCI) indicating two or more transmission configuration indication (TCI) states for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The UE may differentiate that the two or more TCI states apply to all demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports or all transmission layers across all resource blocks and symbols for the PDSCH from TCI states that apply to different sets of DMRS ports or different sets of resource blocks or symbols. The UE may generate a composite quasi-co-location (QCL) based on the two or more TCI states in response to the differentiating. The UE may receive the PDSCH based on the composite QCL.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that an availability condition is satisfied, wherein the availability condition relates to an availability of the UE for sidelink communication; identify future available information (FAI) that indicates at least one of a time domain availability of the UE for sidelink communication or a frequency domain availability of the UE for sidelink communication; and transmit the FAI based at least in part on determining that the availability condition is satisfied.
