    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for channel occupancy time (COT) sharing arrangements when two or more COTs are associated with different durations, and provides arrangements for base station scheduling of downlink transmissions and selection of a listen-before-talk (LBT) configuration when two or more COTs are associated with different user equipment (UE) transmission endpoints. Furthermore, this disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for UE-side communication in accordance with scheduling information determined based on such COT sharing arrangements. By providing COT sharing arrangements when two or more COTs are associated with different durations, unlicensed channel utilization may be improved and throughput may be increased relative to when only one UE's COT can be used by the base station. By providing arrangements for scheduling downlink transmissions and selecting an LBT configuration, unlicensed channel utilization may be improved and access to the unlicensed medium may be streamlined.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may configure allocate resources for sidelink communication between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE as part of a sidelink communication mode 1 and, in some implementations, may configure the first UE (a sidelink receiver) with a set of periodic reception occasions, each reception occasion including multiple reception opportunities for receiving sidelink control information (SCI) from the second UE (a sidelink transmitter). In some examples, each reception opportunity may be associated with a different receive beam and, as such, the first UE may monitor for the SCI from the second UE over different reception opportunities and using different receive beams. Such configured beam-sweeping reception for SCI may increase sidelink reliability as a result of greater spatial diversity, which may increase the likelihood for successful communication between the first UE and the second UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a plurality regulation requirement parameters corresponding to an unlicensed carrier, where the unlicensed carrier spans at least a portion of a first unlicensed band associated with a first set of regulation requirements and at least a portion of a second unlicensed band associated with a second set of regulation requirements. The UE may identify, from the plurality of regulation requirement parameters, a set of regulation requirement parameters for an uplink transmission based at least in part on whether a set of frequency resources for the uplink transmission overlaps with the first unlicensed band and the second unlicensed band. The UE may transmit the uplink transmission using the set of regulation requirement parameters.
