In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may monitor a set of resources to determine a set of availability statuses for the set of resources. The UE may transmit, to a second UE, resource availability information including, for each resource of a set of resources, a respective plurality of bits indicating an availability status of the set of availability statuses.     Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may be configured to generate a preamble of a first message associated with a random access channel (RACH) procedure, such as a two-step RACH procedure. The UE may be further configured to determine an identifier (ID) associated with the UE based on at least one of an ID associated with the preamble or a port index associated with a demodulation reference signal (DMRS). The UE may generate a payload of the first message that indicates the ID associated with the UE. The UE may then transmit the first message to a base station to initiate the RACH procedure. Potentially, the UE may receive a second message from the base station responsive to the first message, and the second message may confirm the ID associated with the UE.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for configuring a UE with a relay measurement configuration for measuring one or more candidate relays in preparation of switching to a target relay. The apparatus receives, from a source relay, a candidate relay configuration. The candidate relay configuration including information of candidate relays and a relay measurement configuration. The apparatus measures a reference signal of the source relay and each of the candidate relays based on the candidate relay configuration. The apparatus transmits, to the source relay, a measurement report of the reference signal of the subset of candidate relays. The apparatus establishes a connection with a subset of candidate relays. The apparatus receives, from the source relay, a relay switch command to switch to a target relay from the subset of candidate relays.

    Abstract: Sounding reference signals (SRS) transmitted by a UE, e.g., for positioning or channel estimation, may be configured for one or both of frequency tone level cyclic shift and symbol level code, which, for example, enables multiplexing a greater number of UEs. The frequency tone level cyclic shift is produced by jointly processing a number of symbols with an extended cyclic shift structure. The SRS may be configured using a symbol group level that indicates the number of symbols associated with a cyclic shift structure, and an outer code that indicates a multiplier applied to the SRS at the symbol level, which increases the multiplexing opportunities. The symbol level code may further indicate an extended cyclic shift indicating a linear increase in phase rotation across tones in symbols associated with the symbol group level.
