Abstract: Present disclosure provides techniques for migrating integrated access and backhaul (IAB) nodes from the source centralized unit (CU) to a target IAB-donor-CU of a base station. Features of the present disclosure achieve such migration by configuring the IAB distributed unit (IAB-DU)to establish F1-connection (F1-C) with the target IAB-donor-CU via the source path before the user equipment (UE) context transfer occurs. To this end, the source IAB-donor-CU may initiate an F1-C establishment between IAB-node DU and target IAB-donor-CU. The source IAB-donor-CU may do so by acting or presenting as an IAB-node-DU proxy to the target IAB-donor-CU. At the same time, the source IAB-donor-CU may act or present as a target-IAB-donor-CU proxy to the IAB-node-DU. Thus, in some cases, the source IAB-donor-CU may present as both the IAB-node-DU proxy (to the target IAB-donor-CU) and as a target-IAB-donor-CU proxy (to the IAB-node-DU).

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for power control in FD systems based on a PL-RS for measuring self-interference. In aspects, a base station may configure a PL-RS for one or more beam pairs and schedule a DL transmission including the PL-RS. A UE may measure self-interference corresponding to the one or more beam pairs based on the PL-RS and adjust an UL Tx power for a FD operation based on the self-interference measured for the one or more beam pairs. The UE may subsequently transmit an UL transmission for the FD operation based on the adjustment to the UL Tx power, such that the base station may receive an UL transmission having an UL Tx power that is based on the measured self-interference associated with the PL-RS.

Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for mitigating wireless communication interference. For example, one or more of a cyclic prefix length, a subcarrier spacing, a beam pair, or a frequency domain separation may be changed to mitigate the effects of inter-symbol interference (ISI) at a UE or a base station. A UE may measure a received timing difference between a time at which the UE receives a downlink transmission and a time at which energy from an uplink transmission by the UE is received by the UE. If this received timing difference exceeds a specified duration of time (e.g., the length of a cyclic prefix), the ISI at the UE may increase. In some examples, the interference mitigation techniques described herein may be invoked if there is an increase in the measured received timing difference.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a user equipment (UE) that receives a timing advance command from a network access node, sends a value indicative of a timing advance capability to the network access node, adjusts a timing advance indicated by the timing advance command based on the timing advance capability to yield an adjusted timing advance, and transmits an uplink signal to the network access node using the adjusted timing advance. Further aspects relate to a network access node that transmits a timing advance command to a user equipment (UE), receives a value indicative of a timing advance capability of the UE, and receives an uplink signal adjusted by a timing advance according to the timing advance capability of the UE. The timing advance capability may indicate that the UE has, or does not have, a capability to adjust the timing advance indicated by the timing advance command.
