    Abstract: A method of wireless communication includes identifying, by a first node configured for operation in a synchronous communication mode, a current synchronization boundary according to a common clock of the synchronous communication mode. The method further includes performing, by the first node, a common clock-triggered (CCT) listen before talk (LBT) procedure of a shared communication channel during a periodic quiet interval at the current synchronization boundary. The method further includes establishing, by the first node, in response to success of the CCT LBT procedure, a channel occupancy time (COT) configured to end at a subsequent synchronization boundary and transmitting, by the first node, data on the shared communication channel during the COT.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station may perform a Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) procedure to obtain access to a wireless communication channel. The base station may then determine a pattern of synchronization signal block (SSB) transmissions based on an outcome of the LBT procedure and transmit the pattern of SSB transmissions after obtaining access to the wireless communication channel. The outcome of the LBT procedure may include obtaining access to the wireless communication channel after a missed opportunity for at least one SSB transmission in a discovery reference signal (DRS) measurement timing configuration (DMTC) window. A user equipment (UE) may determine system timing based on a received SSB transmission.

    Abstract: A first method for wireless communications may comprise determining sizes of payloads of user equipments (UEs), determining whether to multiplex the payloads of the UEs based on the sizes of the payloads, and allocating codes or cyclic shifts to the UEs to transmit the payloads on a single interlace of resources. A second method for wireless communications may comprise determining a first code or a first cyclic shift used for a first transmission using an interlace of resources, and allocating second codes or second cyclic shifts to UEs for a second transmission, where the second transmission may be multiplexed with the first transmission on the interlace of resources. A third method for wireless communications may comprise allocating a first interlace of resources for a first transmission for occupying an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band, and allocating a second interlace of resources, occupied by a base station, for a second transmission.

    Abstract: A base station may configure a set of autonomous uplink (AUL) resources for a specific base station receive beam, or the AUL resources may be configured for specific user equipment (UEs) or user groups. Additionally, the AUL resources may be configured to include a sensing portion, a data portion, or both. As an example, a UE may receive an AUL configuration that includes an indication of a set of AUL resources that are specific to a base station receive beam. The UE may then determine that the set of AUL resources is available and perform an AUL transmission of uplink data using the set of beam-specific AUL resources. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may perform the AUL transmission with respective portions that include a sensing signal and the uplink data. The base station may use the sensing signal to determine a receive beam on which to receive the uplink data.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques relate to improved methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses that support chained sidelink transmissions. A transmitting user equipment (UE) may send, to a receiving UE, sidelink control information (SCI) that reserves resources for transmission from the transmitting UE as well as reserves resources for a response transmission from the receiving UE. The receiving UE may respond with a transmission using the resources that were reserved in the SCI and without sending its own SCI to reserve resources for the response. The latency between the transmitting UE sending the first transmission and receiving a response from the receiving UE may be reduced, because the transmitting UE reserved the resources for itself and the receiving UE with the same SCI.

    Abstract: Control information may be transmitted for different TTI lengths. Different control information for the different TTIs may be transmitted using control channel resources that are established for communication of control information, such as a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), for example. Control information for a first TTI may be located in a first set of resources, and control information for a second TTI may be located in a second set of resources. The first set of resources may be located within a first search space that may be searched by a user equipment (UE) to identify the first control information. The second set of resources may be located within a second search space that may be searched by the UE to identify the second control information.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are described for wireless communication, including for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback in a system that supports communications using transmission time intervals (TTIs) of different durations. A base station may identify a user equipment's (UE) capability to provide HARQ feedback for transmissions that use TTIs of a shorter duration relative to other TTIs supported in the system. The base station may select a HARQ timing mode based on the capability of the UE and may indicate the selected HARQ timing mode to the UE. The base station may then transmit one or more data transmissions to the UE using the reduced TTIs. The UE may respond with HARQ feedback based on the HARQ timing mode. The HARQ timing mode may be based on different response times based on the location of the data transmission within a TTI or relative to data transmission in other TTIs.
