    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods are provided for a base station (BS) to configure initial sweeping with one or more repeaters. For example, a BS may determine a sweeping configuration based on any combination of measurement reports from the repeater and/or received information on the capabilities or category of the repeater. Capabilities can include codebook information, repeater's architecture, beam switching latency, synchronization level, and/or the like. Measurement reports may be transmitted by and/or between a repeater to a BS following an initial connection setup between a repeater and a BS. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: An apparatus may configure a first set of resources associated with first control information for a relay device. The apparatus may configure a second set of resources associated with at least one of data or second control information for at least one UE, and the second set of resources may at least partially overlap with the first set of resources. The apparatus may transmit information indicating the first set of resources and the second set of resources to the relay device. Further, the apparatus may communicate, with the relay device, the first control information on the first set of resources and the at least one of data or second control information on the second set of resources, and the relay device may be configured to relay the at least one of data or second control information between the apparatus and the at least one UE.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for non-line-of-sight (NLOS) target detection. In an aspect, a source vehicle receives, from a roadside unit (RSU), a notification that the RSU is capable of repeating radar signals transmitted by the source vehicle in NLOS directions from the source vehicle, receives, from an active radar repeater associated with the RSU, radar signals for a radar beam sweep in at least one NLOS direction from the source vehicle, receives an angle of each beam of the radar beam sweep, and performs target object detection based on the radar signals for the at least one NLOS direction and the angle of each beam of the radar beam sweep. Example architectures for the active radar repeater are also disclosed.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify multiple candidate sets of physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmissions that include hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for sidelink communications received from one or more peer UEs. The UE may select, from one or more of the multiple candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint, at least one candidate set that has a highest value for a utility parameter among utility parameters associated with each of the one or more candidate sets that satisfy a PSFCH transmit power constraint. The UE may transmit, on a PSFCH, the plurality of PSFCH transmissions included in the at least one candidate set in a HARQ feedback occasion. Numerous other aspects are provided.
