摘要: Systems and methods are described for generating and implementing pulse-shaping filters for efficient utilization of limited spectral resources in wireless communication systems. Wireless communication systems operating at high spectral efficiency conventionally use pulse shaping filters that rely on Nyquist waveforms for good main lobe performance with low inter-symbol interference (ISI) power. Conventional uses of non-Nyquist waveforms typically involve an orthogonalization process to convert those non-Nyquist waveforms to Nyquist waveforms for ISI free performance. Embodiments of pulse shaping filters described herein generate a non-Nyquist partial response (NNPR) transmit filter and/or matched receive filter based on applying a tunable second-weighted orthogonalization to a tunable first-weighted non-Nyquist waveform to obtain a pulse-shaping waveform with parametric control over throughput and power penalty.

摘要: Embodiments provide efficient multicast handover for content delivery to client devices in multi-carrier communications systems. For example, client devices in a transport craft can consume a media channel offering via a first carrier during transport through the communications system. Embodiments can establish respective multicast groups for the media channel offering in at least the first carrier and a subsequent second carrier, and can notify the craft of the multicast groups prior to the craft being serviced by the second carrier. Such pre-notification can permit multicast handover of the media channel offering from the first carrier to the second carrier in a manner that avoids typical handover-related. For example, embodiments can direct multicast delivery of the media channel offering to the craft in accordance with the first multicast group while being serviced by the first carrier and in accordance with the second multicast group while being serviced by the second.

摘要: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for network management are provided. In an example, a first node of a network determines a packet size modulation profile for use in generating identifiable data packets. The first node generates a first identifiable data packet addressed to a second node. The first node modulates a first packet size of a first data packet based upon the packet size modulation profile. The first node transmits the first identifiable data packet to the second node. The first node receives, from the second node, a second identifiable data packet corresponding to a reply to the first identifiable data packet. The first identifiable data packet and the second identifiable data packet are identifiable as a send-reply pair of data packets based upon the first packet size of the first identifiable data packet and a second packet size of the second identifiable data packet.

摘要: Embodiments of this application provide a data compression method, a data decompression method, and a communication apparatus. The communication apparatus may be a baseband unit (BBU), a remote radio unit (RRU), or the like. The method may be used for data compression and decompression. During data compression, the communication apparatus may obtain first data based on N pieces of original data, an amount K of combined data, and a data bit width L of the combined data, where the first data is data obtained by compressing the original data, a data bit width corresponding to the first data is β, β is a non-integer greater than 0, and N, K, and L are positive integers; then determine the combined data based on β and the first data; and output the combined data.

摘要: Methods performed by base stations and wireless devices in networks are disclosed. A method performed by a base station comprises: initiating a QoS-flow to DRB remapping; informing a target base station that the remapping is ongoing; and providing the target base station an old and a new QoS-flow to DRB mapping, wherein the old mapping was in place before the remapping, and the new mapping will be in place after the remapping. Another method performed by a base station comprises: receiving an indication from a further base station that QoS-flow to DRB remapping is ongoing; receiving an old and a new QoS-flow to DRB mapping from the further base station; and receiving signals from a wireless device using the old and new QoS-flow to DRB mappings. A method performed by the wireless device comprises: sending data packets using a first QoS-flow to DRB mapping; receiving a new mapping; and sending an SOAR end marker, indicating that the wireless device is applying the new mapping. Also disclosed are base stations and wireless devices configured to perform the methods.
