摘要: System and methods are described herein for providing wireless power to a target device, such as a laptop computer, a mobile phone, a vehicle, robot, or an unmanned aerial vehicle or system (UAV) or (UAS). A tunable multi-element transmitter may transmit electromagnetic radiation (EMR) to the target device using any of a wide variety of frequency bands. A location determination subsystem and/or range determination subsystem may determine a relative location, orientation, and/or rotation of the target device. For a target device within a distance range for which a smallest achievable waist of the Gaussian beam of the EMR at an operational frequency is smaller than the multi-element EMR receiver of the target device, a non-Gaussian beamform may be determined to increase efficiency, decrease overheating, reduce spillover, increase total power output of rectenna receivers on the target device, or achieve another target power delivery goal.

The aerial moving body further includes a beam shape data generator to generate radiated radio wave data including the received radio wave data and the radio wave source relative position data representing measurement point data that is a position of the aerial moving body at a point of time when the received radio wave data is measured as a relative position with respect to the measurement target antenna.

摘要: A wireless-power receiver is disclosed including a first antenna configured to transmit first near-field radio frequency (RF) energy, a second antenna configured to receive second near-field RF energy, and a communications component configured to provide a communication signal including data indicating a location of the first wireless-power receiver. The wireless-power receiver is configured to, in accordance with a determination that the wireless-power receiver is in direct contact with a surface of another wireless-power receiver, transmit the first near-field RF energy, via the first antenna, to the other receiver. The wireless-power receiver is further configured to, in accordance with a determination, based on the data indicating the location of the wireless-power receiver, that the wireless-power receiver is within a non-zero threshold distance from the other receiver or a wireless-power transmitter, receive the second near-field RF energy, via the second antenna, from the other receiver or from the wireless-power transmitter.

摘要: A wireless power receiver according to some embodiments includes an integrated circuit which includes: a full-bridge rectifier coupled to receive wireless power from a receiver coil; a wireless receiver controller coupled to control the full-bridge rectifier; a pass device coupled between the full-bridge rectifier and an output; and a configurable controller coupled to the switch, the configurable controller configurable as a LDO controller or a Buck controller. A second controller can be coupled to the configurable controller that interfaces to an external Buck low-side transistor if the configurable controller is the Buck controller and provides GPIO if the configurable controller is the LDO controller. A third controller can be coupled to the full-bridge rectifier, which operates as a full-bridge sync rectifier driver multiplexer to select an external driver for one or more of the rectifier transistors. Other features are also provided.

摘要: Embodiments described herein a method for controlling operating frequency for a wireless power charging system. Specifically, a transmitter coil at a wireless power transmitter is driven under an operating frequency and an input voltage. deadtime information at the wireless power receiver is received, from a wireless power receiver having a receiver coil that receives wireless power from the transmitter coil. A microcontroller then determines, based on the received deadtime information or the operating frequency, whether the operating frequency deviates from a target operating frequency range. Based on the determination, one or both of the operating frequency or the input voltage are adjusted thereby causing the operating frequency to fall within the target operating frequency range.
