    摘要: A hydraulic training system includes a cart, with a fluid reservoir, a motor, a first pump and a second pump situated on the cart. The first and second pumps are in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir and are operatively connected to be driven by the motor. A drivable wheel is rotatably attached to the cart and is selectively connectable to the first pump to drive the wheel. A steering system is selectively connectable to the second pump and arranged to steer a steerable wheel extending from the top of a first planar surface.

    摘要: The apparatus has a transparent casing and an oblong toroidal shape in the form of a bucket elevator. First and second vertical compartments are separated by a partition and a clear cylindrical passage is formed around the circumference of the apparatus. First and a second sheaves are mounted above one another along the partition. A flexible loop is mounted around the sheaves and a series of balloons attached to the flexible loop at spaced intervals. The first compartment is opened to ambient air. The lower region is filled with argon gas and the second compartment is filled with helium gas. The balloons are filled with the helium gas such that the balloons have buoyancy in the first compartment and heaviness in the second compartment, and the pool of argon gas impedes the diffusion of ambient air in the second compartment.

    摘要: In the evaluation apparatus of the present invention, there are formed a plurality of minute channels having a cross-sectional area of not more than 1 mm2, one end of each of these channels joins in at a single meeting point and, when liquids are put into one or more of the liquid reservoirs in a higher position over any other liquid reservoir, the liquids flow down in the channels by gravity. Therefore, a scientific phenomenon, such as the diffusion of molecules, can be qualitatively observed. Furthermore, the apparatus provides a sufficient level of accuracy to enable the user to watch various phenomena involved in advanced technology, and uses no large quantity of chemicals or the like, which means little load on the environment.

    摘要: A decorative and educational waterfall device has a substantially continuous film of a liquid, such as water, low viscosity oil or an aqueous solution, extending between two vertically upstanding guides. The waterfall comprises a base reservoir in which is mounted an electrical pump. A tower containing a liquid flow passage is mounted to the base and a trough having two side walls and a bottom wall which terminates in a lip portion at the front edge of the trough is mounted to the tower so that liquid from the tower flows over the bottom wall and lip portion of the trough to form the waterfall between the two upstanding guides. The bottom wall of the trough is configured to cause the flow of water to be directed outwardly toward the guides to improve the adherence of the liquid film to the guides. One or more flow restrictors are mounted transversely across the trough, substantially parallel to the lip portion to decrease the turbulence of the flowing liquid and improve the capability of the liquid to form a continuous film.

The demonstration apparatus can be mounted on a movable cart.
