摘要: An object is to suppress an inclination of a waveform indicating an injection quantity with respect to an injection pulse particularly when a lift amount of a valve body is small and an injection pulse width is short, thereby improving control accuracy of the injection quantity of a fuel injection device. Thus, a control device for controlling a fuel injection device, which includes a valve body, a solenoid, and a movable element to open the valve body, is provided with a control unit that controls a drive voltage or a drive current to be applied to the solenoid, in which the control unit controls the drive current such that the drive current to be supplied to the solenoid decreases from a maximum drive current after the maximum drive current is supplied to the solenoid and before the valve body starts to open.

摘要: A control device for a fuel injection valve including a variable lift mechanism of two or more stages is provided. The control device includes an inflection point detection unit for detecting an inflection point from at least one of a drive current when the fuel injection valve is opened or a drive voltage when the fuel injection valve is closed. The control device also includes a drive sensing unit for sensing a drive lift of the fuel injection valve from at least one of an inflection point of a drive current during valve opening operation or a drive voltage during valve closing operation. The control device is configured to limit the command drive lift when the sensed drive lift is different from a command drive lift.

摘要: A method for detecting the malfunction of a software solution configured to generate data representing the instant of interruption of fuel injection of an internal combustion engine. The method comprises acquiring data by a data acquisition device which is connected to a measurement device fixed to an injector body and configured to emit data representing closure instants of an injection nozzle, recording the data generated by the software solution and the data emitted by the measurement device, over a predetermined duration, synchronizing the data generated by the software solution and the data emitted by the measurement device, and comparing the data generated by the software solution and the data emitted by the measurement device, the software solution being considered to be malfunctioning when they do not satisfy predefined criteria.

摘要: Methods and systems for controlling a pneumatic starter air valve of a gas turbine engine are described herein. The starter air valve is controlled in a first mode of operation by actuating a first solenoid of the starter air valve with a steady-state input signal. Passage of the steady-state input signal to a second solenoid of the starter air valve is allowed, to actuate the second solenoid and enable pressure regulation of the starter air valve. The starter air valve is controlled in a second mode of operation by actuating the first solenoid with a pulse-width modulation input signal. Passage of the pulse-width modulation input signal to the second solenoid is prevented, to disable the pressure regulation in the second mode of operation.

摘要: A purge pump system of a vehicle is provided for purging C—H-gas of a tank system to an induction line of a combustion engine of the vehicle. A purge pump and gas connection lines connect the purge pump with the tank system and the induction line. A brushless DC motor and a control unit are also provided. The brushless DC motor comprises a rotor and a stator. The control unit is configured for providing the brushless DC motor with a commutative current to effect a relative rotation of the rotor to the stator. The purge pump system further comprises a shutdown unit for receiving an enable-signal of the vehicle via an enable signal line. The shutdown unit is configured to short-circuit the brushless DC motor as a response to a loss of the enable signal.

摘要: A system and method for controlling operation of an internal combustion engine having at least one fuel injector. A controller is configured to selectively command the at least one fuel injector to deliver a primary fuel injection of a first fuel quantity and a secondary fuel injection of a second fuel quantity. The first fuel quantity is above a predefined threshold and the second fuel quantity is at or below the predefined threshold. The controller is configured to command a primary pulse width and a secondary pulse width, based in part on a respective desired fuel injection mass and respective initialized values of fuel injector slope. Operation of the fuel injectors is controlled based in part on a converged primary fuel injector slope and a converged secondary fuel injector slope determined at partially from a comparison of a calculated fuel mass and an estimated fuel mass.
