    Abstract: A stage cementing tool for use in a wellbore comprises a mandrel having a plurality of circumferentially spaced first longitudinal slots and a plurality of circumferentially spaced second longitudinal slots. An opening sleeve is disposed in the mandrel in a first position and movable relative thereto. A setting sleeve disposed about the mandrel is connected to the opening sleeve and movable therewith. A drive sleeve is disposed in the mandrel above the opening sleeve is connected to and movable with a closing sleeve disposed about the mandrel.

    Abstract: A stage cementing tool includes a housing configured to couple to a casing and having a central bore therethrough, a first plurality of ports arranged on a radial surface of the housing and configured to fluidly connect the central bore and an annulus of a wellbore, a second plurality of ports arranged on the radial surface of the housing uphole of the first plurality of ports and configured to fluidly connect the central bore and the annulus of the wellbore, an expandable element coupled to the housing between the first plurality of ports and the second plurality of ports, and a sleeve. The sleeve is moveable from a first position on the housing to a second position on the housing to fluidly disconnect the central bore and the annulus through the first plurality of ports and fluidly connect the central bore and the annulus through the second plurality of ports.

    Abstract: A wellbore isolation assembly includes an outer component and an inner component. The outer component is disposed at a first location in a wellbore. The inner component is disposed at a second location in the wellbore. The inner component is moved from the second location into engagement with the outer component at the first location to form a barrier within the wellbore. When deployed in the wellbore, the barrier inhibits passage of fluids. The wellbore isolation assembly is then retrieved from the wellbore.

    Abstract: An apparatus for injecting an accelerating fluid into an oil well includes casing open at the ends into which a cement flows and positioned inside the well forming an annular zone with its walls. The casing includes a hollow cylindrical body with lateral surfaces integral with the casing internal surfaces and a central hole through which a cement flows, with a lower horizontal section than the casing section. The apparatus includes hollow internal chamber with an accelerating fluid; one or more body inlet devices, which put the body and chamber in fluid communication. The inlet devices are positioned on one of the hollow cylindrical body base surfaces. The apparatus includes at least one body outlet devices, which puts the chamber in fluid communication with the conduit through the central hole, positioned radially with respect to the cylindrical body axis and along the central hole internal surface.
