Abstract:
This invention relates to a stable, highly visible, multiple use, chemiluminescent composition of matter and aerosol system capable of articulating, communicating, displaying or marking, night-time chemiluminescent messages, in the form of written text, numerics, alpha-numerics, figures, drawings, emergency messages, trail markings, lanterns or distress calls, directly onto various substrates and surfaces, including dark or non-reflective objects and outdoor natural surfaces such as grass, trees or land. The invention functions by co-dispensing two vessels, each of which is pressurized by means of a non-flammable liquid or gaseous propellant. The chemical ingredients from each vessel are combined upon contact with the surface or by means of a mixing valve or upon attached to the actuators of each vessel, which simultaneously eject the contents of both vessels and produce a chemiluminescent aerosol spray.
Abstract:
Systems are described for delivery of a wide variety of materials in which liquid and gas or vapor states are concurrently present, from a package preferably including a fluid-containing collapsible liner. Headspace gas is removed from a pressure dispensing package prior to liquid dispensation therefrom, and ingress gas is removed thereafter during dispensation operation. At least one sensor senses presence of gas or a gas-liquid interface in a reservoir or gas-liquid separation region. A gas removal system including an integral reservoir, at least one sensor, and at least one flow control elements may be included within a connector adapted to mate with a pressure dispensing package, for highly efficient removal of gas from the liquid being dispensed from the container.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for flushing or rinsing the skin and eyes by which an aqueous fluid consisting essentially of water is sprayed onto the skin and/or eyes for a time sufficient to remove contaminants on or in the skin or eyes.
Abstract:
A liquid permeable interconnect membrane for a liquid supply outlet, and a void between the interconnect membranes and an opposite void wall, the interconnect membrane being stiff enough to avoid unwanted pore deformation or contact with the opposite void wall.
Abstract:
A pressurized container for dispensing a 1K adhesive or sealant composition is disclosed. The container has an outer container with at least one dispensing opening and a deformable inner container to be filled with the 1K composition. The inner container is accommodated in the outer container and also has a dispensing opening. The inner container is connected to the outer container. The outer container has a pressure generator containing an amount of activated carbon having a propellant gas adsorbed thereon.
Abstract:
Device adapted to deliver fluids, in particular medicines, under pressure, comprising a receptacle 1 of variable volume in a form or shape of a pouch or flexible container of general cylindrical shape with exclusively longitudinal pleats 2 containing the fluid under pressure to be delivered and equipped with an actuator C permitting to open a valve 15a, 15b, to enable the aforementioned fluid to be delivered, the whole being located inside a receptacle 4 capable of resisting to an elevated internal pressure, the internal volume of this last receptacle comprised between its wall and the receptacle of variable volume being filled with a neutral gas under a pressure sufficient to exert on the receptacle of variable volume a pneumatic constraint sufficient to permit the delivery of the therein contained fluid when the above-said valve permitting the said delivery is operated by the aforementioned actuator C.
Abstract:
In a gas cartridge, inside of a metal made outer can 1 is arranged with a metal made inner bag 2 charged with a fuel gas G1. A space between the outer can 1 and the inner bag 2 is charged with a compression gas G2 for pressing to crush the inner bag 2 in accordance with consumption of the fuel gas G1. Pertinent positions on an inner side of the outer can 1 are provided with deformation introducing members P1 through P7 for producing an initial deformation for introducing a deformation of the inner bag when a press force of the compression gas G2 is received.
Abstract:
A manual spray dispenser for dispensing a mixture of two compositions comprises a container having a first and second chamber and a single dispensing spray outlet. At least one of the chambers has a separator in the form of a pouch for physically separating the contents of the container from an interior surface of the chamber. One of the first and second chambers contains a first composition and the other contains a second composition. The dispenser further contains a dispensing system for simultaneously dispensing the first composition and the second composition, mixing the two compositions together, and dispensing a mixture of the two compositions from the container under pressure. An aerosol propellant is between the separator and the interior surface of the at least one of the first and second chambers for pressurizing the composition in the pouch for dispensing the contents thereof through the dispensing system under pressure.
Abstract:
A distributor for a product under pressure has a receptacle which defines a receiving volume. A valve having a springy press-on valve shaft and a non-return valve part is mounted on the receptacle. A passage through which the valve shaft may communicate with the receiving volume is provided. A valve seating section is arranged such that the passage is closed off when the valve shaft is in a rest position and is open when the valve shaft is pressed on. A flexible bag which defines an interior space is provided within the receptacle with the valve seating section outside the bag, and the bag is connected to the valve shaft by the non-return valve part such that flow of a pressurized medium may flow through the valve shaft toward the interior space, but reverse flow is blocked. Flow of pressurized medium out of or into the receptacle through the valve shaft may be obtained without releasing pressure from the pressurized bag.
Abstract:
A dual-chamber package comprising a substantially dimensionally stable outer container (1) with a dispensing valve (2) for accommodating liquid or pasty contents and an inner container disposed within the outer container (1) for receiving a pressurized gas such as pressurized air or the like, wherein the inner container (3) is a flexible bag and wherein the dispensing valve (2) comprises a dispensing tube (17) disposed within a valve body (14) for movement from a closed position to an open position and vice versa. To simplify the design, increase the operational safety and attain improved ecological compatibility, the inner bag (3) is connected to the dispensing valve (2) and adapted to be filled therethrough with pressurized gas when the outer container (1) has been filled and closed, so that with the dispensing valve (2) in the open state the contents can be ejected from the outer container (1) while the inner bag (3) expands correspondingly.
