摘要: A one-component moisture-curing adhesive composition is provided, comprising from 80 to 100 wt % of an isocyanate-functional prepolymer obtainable by reacting (a) a polyisocyanates mixture having an average nominal isocyanate functionality in the range of from above 2.00 to below 2.05, and (b) a polyol mixture, wherein the equivalent ratio between isocyanate groups in (a) and hydroxyl groups in (b) is in the range of from 3.5 to 7.0, wherein the content of free isocyanate groups in the adhesive composition is in the range of from 14 to 17 wt %, and wherein polyisocyanates mixture (a) comprises (a1) a diisocyanate comprising methyl diphenyl diisocyanate in excess of (a2) a uretonimine-modified methyl diphenyl diisocyanate comprising at least 3 isocyanate functional groups. A method of bonding a first piece of material to a second piece of material using such adhesive composition, and an object made from the method, are also provided.

摘要: A woodworking bridge has two base walls or components that enable the bridge to span an abutment or joint between two work pieces. A top surface enables a clamp to engage the bridge to permit the clamp to apply a clamping force to a first work piece and a second work piece on both sides of the joint and prevent the clamp from contacting the joint. This allows any adhesive that oozes from the joint to be cleaned without curing in the top surface and/or the bottom surface of the two work pieces. The work pieces may then be stained without any cured adhesive in the pores of the work pieces where stain is applied.

摘要: A sealant spreader device fills voids around a drilled hole with sealant in glued-in-rod (GIR) structures. A liquid sealant may be applied to the base of a drilled hole. A sealant spreader device is then inserted to the base of the drilled hole, through the sealant. The sealant spreader device is then withdrawn while rotating. The sealant spreader device includes winged sections having contours which force the sealant radially outward toward walls of the hole, into any voids around the circumference of the drilled hole, and leaves a thin layer of sealant around the circumference of the drilled hole.

摘要: A glued-in-rod wooden structure includes a prepared hole for sealing voids which may be open to the prepared hole. In one example, the prepared hole is filled with an expanding foam which at least partially fills and seals the voids open to the prepared hole. Thereafter, the prepared hole may be enlarged by drilling to its final diameter for receiving the rod. Any voids in the enlarged hole remain sealed by the expanding foam.

The generator (10) comprises an in particular releasable torque interface (14) for transmitting a torque from the outside to the machining unit (1). The generator (10) is configured to be driven by means of the torque, wherein the drive (12) is driven using the energy from the generator (10). A machining centre having such an exchangeable machining unit is also disclosed.
