The upper and lower contact assemblies include resilient retention facilities for providing suitable electrical contact forces when engaged with the device mounting studs. Each of the terminal and support arrangements include a latch arm that is moved to release the respective device mounting stud from a retained holding position to a latch release position. A pair of opposed bulb guides integral with the frame member are disposed substantially midway of the interior rectangular space. The opposed bulb guides each define a respective arcuate concavity for receiving a portion of the wedge-base of the lamp therein so as to provide a holder for the wedge-base lamp. The bulb guides further define a pair of lateral socket spaces within the interior rectangular space of the frame member and each have a projection member extending into the socket space. A pair of U-shaped electrically conductive clamp elements are positioned in a respective one of the lateral socket spaces. Each clamp element has (i) an attachment aperture which receives a projection member of a respective socket space to positionally restrain the clamp element therewithin, and (ii) a lateral connection piece positioned within a respective lateral shoulder pocket for connection to a bus bar.

A fuse holder provides a safe device for connecting fuses to a three-phase busbar device. Each phase includes a corresponding load conductor and line conductor mounted within a housing. A mechanical lock is provided for each phase that locks a knife of the fuse to one of the conductors for the phase. In a further aspect, the fuse knives are frictionally locked within the housing. In both the mechanical lock and frictional lock, a release mechanism is provided that can be activated by a screwdriver to release the fuse knives from the fuse holder. In another aspect, certain conductors are provided with heat dissipation wings that contact the housing to dissipate heat generated by current flowing through the conductor.
