The wiring lug includes a fuse clip member comprising a first pressure plate and a fuse clip, a lug box comprising a second pressure plate, and a securing member operably coupled to the lug box. The securing member operates between a first position and a second position to move the second pressure plate of the lug box with respect to the first pressure plate of the fuse clip member. The first pressure plate and the second pressure plate have a clamping relationship when the securing member is in the first position and have a non-clamping relationship when the securing member is in the second position.

    摘要: A mounting for a circuit interrupter is provided that facilitates the easy removal and insertion of the circuit interrupter. The mounting includes upper and lower terminal and support arrangements that cooperate with upper and lower device mounting studs of a circuit interrupter. The device mounting studs also function as electrical circuit connection points to connect the circuit interrupter in an electrical circuit via respective upper and lower contact assemblies of the mounting. The upper and lower contact assemblies include resilient retention facilities for providing suitable electrical contact forces when engaged with the device mounting studs. The upper and lower terminal and support arrangements retain the circuit interrupter within the mounting and are selectively operable to release the circuit interrupter for removal from the mounting. Each of the terminal and support arrangements include a latch arm that is moved to release the respective device mounting stud from a retained holding position to a latch release position. The mounting also includes a resilient guiding member that cooperates with one or more of the latch arms to retain the circuit interrupter in a latched released position after operation of the latch arm. The resilient guiding member includes a protruding arm that acts against the device mounting stud as the latch arm is moved outwardly to release the device mounting studs.

When the fuse carrying box 26 is fitted to the stationary box 21, the slits 41, 41 serve to introduce both terminals 24, 24 of the fuse 22 to a power-connecting part and a load-connecting part of the stationary box 21 and also restrict the displacement of the terminals 24, 24.

    摘要: A connector component for a wedge-base lamp includes an electrically insulative base having an upright inverted T-shaped electrically insulated frame member which defines a central interior rectangular space for receiving a wedge-base of a lamp. The insulated frame member also has an opposed pair of lateral shoulder pockets which open into a lower portion of the central interior rectangular space. A pair of opposed bulb guides integral with the frame member are disposed substantially midway of the interior rectangular space. The opposed bulb guides each define a respective arcuate concavity for receiving a portion of the wedge-base of the lamp therein so as to provide a holder for the wedge-base lamp. The bulb guides further define a pair of lateral socket spaces within the interior rectangular space of the frame member and each have a projection member extending into the socket space. A pair of U-shaped electrically conductive clamp elements are positioned in a respective one of the lateral socket spaces. Each clamp element has (i) an attachment aperture which receives a projection member of a respective socket space to positionally restrain the clamp element therewithin, and (ii) a lateral connection piece positioned within a respective lateral shoulder pocket for connection to a bus bar.

    摘要: A fuse holder provides a safe device for connecting fuses to a three-phase busbar device. Each phase includes a corresponding load conductor and line conductor mounted within a housing. A mechanical lock is provided for each phase that locks a knife of the fuse to one of the conductors for the phase. In a further aspect, the fuse knives are frictionally locked within the housing. In both the mechanical lock and frictional lock, a release mechanism is provided that can be activated by a screwdriver to release the fuse knives from the fuse holder. In another aspect, certain conductors are provided with heat dissipation wings that contact the housing to dissipate heat generated by current flowing through the conductor.
