摘要: A heat exchanger A1 includes a coiled tube 60 including a plurality of loops 60a, and a space 35 surrounded by the coiled tube 60 and having an end closed by a partition 19. The heat exchanger is so designed that combustion gas flows from the space 35 to a combustion gas path 36 by passing through clearances 61 of the loops 60a of the coiled tube 60. The loops 60a are made of a tube having a thickness t1 and a width L1 which is larger than the thickness, so that the amount of heat recovery when the combustion gas passes through the clearances 61 is large. Therefore, the heat exchange efficiency is enhanced while simplifying the overall structure of the heat exchanger A1 and reducing the size of the heat exchanger.

摘要: A fuel-fired water heater has a three-pass condensing type heat exchanger disposed within its tank and having a central vertical first pass flue pipe separated into upper and lower portions by an internal dividing structure. Respectively coupled to the upper and lower first pass flue pipe portions are circumferentially spaced series of vertical second and third pass flue pipes which circumscribe the central flue pipe within the tank. During firing of the water heater, combustion gases from a power burner are sequentially forced downwardly through the upper portion of the first pass flue pipe, upwardly through the second pass flue pipes to an upper plenum external to the tank, and then downwardly through the third pass flue pipes and the lower central pipe portion into a bottom plenum external to the tank for discharge from the water heater.

摘要: A fuel-fired commercial water heater has a three-pass condensing type heat exchanger disposed within its tank and having a vertical flue connected at its lower end to a central collector plenum horizontally circumscribed by an outer plenum to which an exhaust pipe is coupled. A series of vertical tube structures are disposed above and intercommunicate the central and outer collector plenums. The outlet of a fuel burner is coupled to the upper end of the flue and is operative to sequentially flow combustion gases downwardly through the flue into the central collector plenum, upwardly and then downwardly through the tube structures into the outer collector plenum and then outwardly through the exhaust pipe.

摘要: A fuel-fired water heater has a single pass condensing-type heat exchanger disposed within its water storage tank portion. The heat exchanger includes a primary non-condensing portion defined by a combustion chamber positioned in an upper interior portion of the tank and having a spaced series of vertical tubes depending therefrom. A secondary condensing portion of the heat exchanger is defined by a plenum having a top side connected to the bottom ends of the vertical tubes, and a bottom side from which a downwardly coiled flue tube depends. A fuel burner generates hot combustion gases that are sequentially flowed into the combustion chamber and then downwardly through the balance of the heat exchanger in a single pass.

摘要: The invention relates to a condensation heat exchanger. The inventive heat exchanger consists of two co-axial helicoidal tube bundles which are positioned end-to-end, one of said bundles (2a) serving as a primary exchanger and the other (2b) serving as a secondary exchanger. Each of the aforementioned bundles comprises a tube and/or a group of flat tubes which are mounted inside a gas-impermeable casing (1). Moreover, means are provided to circulate at least one fluid to he heated inside the tubes, the casing (1) being equipped with a gas exhaust sleeve (122). In this way, a first hot gas, known as the main gas, which is, for example, generated by a burner (6), passes radially through the voids in the bundles. A deflector system (7) ensures that said main hot gas first passes through the primary exchanger (2a) from inside outwards and, subsequently, the secondary exchanger (2b) from outside inwards, after which it is discharged from the exchanger through the above-mentioned sleeve (122). The deflector (7) comprises two adjoining parallel plates (7a, 7b) which are made from a thermally-insulating material. In this way, a second (additional) hot gas can be introduced between the aforementioned plates in order to heat the fluid circulating in the secondary exchanger or to contribute to the heating thereof. The inventive condensation exchanger is suitable, for example, for domestic use.

摘要: A condensing gas boiler having a corrosion prevention structure of preventing corrosion caused by using heterogeneous metal is provided, which includes a casing provided with a combustion chamber therein; a present heat exchanger arranged in the casing, which includes a first tubular tube made of a copper material having a plurality first thermal pins formed by processing an outer circumferential surface; a latent heat exchanger disposed at a distance from the present heat exchanger, which includes a second tubular tube whose inner portion is made of a copper material and whose outer portion is made of aluminum, having a plurality second thermal pins formed by processing an outer circumferential surface; end plates contacting and engaged with each other while the present heat exchanger and the latent heat exchanger are fixedly arranged in respective rows and installed in the casing; and a plurality of connection tubes which are mutually connected through a connection portion so that water can circulate through the present heat exchanger and the latent heat exchanger, wherein connection tubes which are made of a corrosion-resistant material are installed to have a broader area, and simultaneously connection tubes which are made of a corrosion-easy material are installed to have a smaller area, to thereby suppress galvanic corrosion through an unfavorable area ratio, and wherein an insulator for electrical insulation is provided between the end plates. Galvanic corrosion or stay current corrosion caused by using heterogeneous metal between the present and latent heat exchangers is suppressed, to thereby enhance durability of a product and thus heighten reliability of the product.

摘要: Devices and methods for controlling a boiler system. One illustrative method includes controlling the bypass temperature by increasing the firing rate of the boiler. Further methods include bypass temperature control methods wherein both regular and fast control methods are used, where the regular method operates to control bypass temperature by using, first, a bypass valve, and second, possible increases in firing rate. The fast control method responds to particular situations suggesting potential condensation in a primary heat exchanger to increase firing rate without waiting for a bypass valve to fully open. Further embodiments include controllers programmed for or containing programming for performing steps of the method embodiments, as well as systems incorporating such controllers.

摘要: An air-proportionality type boiler is provided. Since the air-proportionality type boiler directly controls a current proportionality gas valve according to an amount of air by using a low-price AC air blower, a low-price current proportionality gas valve and a low-price airflow sensor, a gas supply amount can be adjusted with respect to all ranges of the airflow amount. Also, an appropriate calorie required for proportionally controlling a present circulation water temperature to a set temperature, can be supplied. The boiler can be safely ignited to perform a combustion operation under the optimal condition although abnormal weathers and conditions. Accordingly, since a combustion performance is enhanced, combustion efficiency is high and a fuel cost can be saved.

摘要: A water heater apparatus includes a water conduit having an inlet and an outlet. A primary heat exchanger has a water side defining a portion of the water conduit. A burner is operatively associated with the primary heat exchanger for heating water in the water side of the primary heat exchanger. A variable flow blower provides pre-mixed combustion air and fuel gas to the burner at a controlled blower flow rate within a blower flow rate range. This apparatus allows the heat output of the water heater to be continuously varied within a substantial flow rate range having a turn down ratio of as much as four to one.
