    Abstract: An endodontic irrigator tip includes a hub and a cannula coupled to the hub. The hub includes a neck having a distal stop end which ensheathes the proximal portion of the cannula. The distal stop end is angled with respect to the longitudinal axis of the hub. The stop end prevents the insertion of the cannula beyond a desired distance, thereby preventing perforation of the apex of the root canal. The stop end has a substantially greater diameter than the diameter of the cannula Thus, the stop end of the neck rests on the occlusal surface of the crown of the tooth while the cannula extends the desired distance within the root canal.
