摘要： A sewing machine includes a holder including an embroidery frame holding a workpiece cloth and a striking holder holding an engraving workpiece which is to be engraved by striking, a transfer mechanism detachably attached to either the embroidery frame or the striking holder to transfer the embroidery frame or the striking holder on a sewing machine bed, a striking needle which is struck against the engraving workpiece to engrave the engraving workpiece, a drive mechanism reciprocally driving the striking needle upward and downward, and a control device controlling at least one of execution of an embroidery sewing operation onto the workpiece cloth and execution of an engraving operation in which the striking needle is moved upward and downward so that the striking needle is struck against the engraving workpiece held by the striking holder while the striking holder is moved by the transfer mechanism.

摘要： A sewing machine includes a sewing controller that controls sewing machine components, an imaging element capable of capturing facial images of a sewing machine user; a settings storage that stores settings for preset modes, the settings comprising items pertaining to sewing machine functions; a user information storage that stores facial image data of the user captured by the imaging element with mapping to the settings of the mode registered with the user; a verifier that verifies whether or not image data that matches the facial image data captured by the imaging element at sewing operation start exists in the user information storage; and an instruction controller that reads the settings from the user information storage when receiving a positive verification result from the verifier, and that instructs the sewing controller to control the sewing machine components based on the settings read.

In the steel plate reinforcing sheet comprising a restricting layer and a resin layer, a curing composition is first prepared by mixing rubber components comprising diene-based rubber and rubber having a vinyl group in its side chain, with a cross-linking agent capable of reacting with these rubber components, and then by kneading the mixture. Thereafter, the curing composition thus prepared is rolled by molding, to form a resin layer. Then, the resin layer thus formed is adhesively bonded to the restricting layer, to produce a steel plate reinforcing sheet.

The cloth holding frame holding the cloth to be printed is detachably provided with the ink tray to receive a jet of ink from the print head by a flushing, and is moved to a flushing position based on a moving distance and, in association therewith, a type of the cloth holding frame set in the printer. Accordingly, the maintenance time for the flushing becomes shorter. The speed of the printing process is enhanced. The controlling operation of the frame driving mechanism to perform the flushing becomes simplified, and the printer can be downsized.
