    Abstract: An SS monitoring method and a device. The method includes: obtaining target information, where the target information includes at least one of the following: configuration information of a first target SS and blind detection resource allocation information of the first target SS, the configuration information is used to indicate the number of blind detections in the first target SS, the blind detection resource allocation information is used to allocate the number of blind detections to an SS in the first target SS, and the number of blind detections includes at least one of the following: the number of downlink control channel candidates and the number of channel estimations; and monitoring a second target SS in the first target SS based on the target information.

    Abstract: Measurement methods and a terminal are provided. An exemplary measurement method includes determining an indication period of measurement according to a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) cycle. The measurement method further includes determining the indication period according to a length relationship between the DRX cycle and a threshold of the DRX cycle, wherein different length relationships correspond to different indication periods. The measurement method also includes using N times of the DRX cycle as the indication period. N is configured by a network side and N is a number greater than zero. The measurement method additionally includes determining the indication period as a fixed value if the DRX cycle is less than or equal to a specified value, wherein the fixed value is predefined or configured by the network side. The measurement method also includes determining an evaluation period according to the indication period.
