    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol adjustment for sidelink (SL) transmissions in a wireless communication system. A method of user equipment (UE) includes receiving a sidelink control information (SCI) format that includes information on a cyclic prefix (CP) extension, determining parameters (Ci and Δi) based on the information on the CP extension, and determining a duration for the CP extension based on the parameters. The method further includes extending a sidelink OFDM symbol for an interval preceding the sidelink OFDM symbol for the duration for the CP extension and transmitting the sidelink OFDM symbol with the extended CP duration.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for random access (RA) in full-duplex (FD) wireless communication systems. A method for transmitting a random access channel (RACH) associated with a RA procedure includes receiving first information for first parameters of a first RACH configuration associated with a first subset of slots from a set of slots on a cell, second information for second parameters of a second RACH configuration associated with a second subset of slots from the set of slots on the cell, and third information for a condition. The method further includes determining whether the condition is valid for transmission in a slot from the second subset of slots and transmitting a RACH in the slot based on: the first RACH configuration when the condition is valid, and the second RACH configuration when the condition is not valid.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for resource selection for physical channels during initial access. A method of operating a user equipment (UE) includes receiving first information indicating a first partition of physical random access channel (PRACH) resources into a first group and a second group. A first PRACH transmission using a first PRACH resource from the first group of PRACH resources indicates a first set of features for the UE. A second PRACH transmission using a second PRACH resource from the second group of PRACH resources indicates a second set of features for the UE. The UE further includes determining a PRACH resource from the first group of PRACH resources or from the second group of PRACH resources and transmitting a PRACH using the determined PRACH resource in a RACH occasion (RO).

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for power information for uplink configurations. A method includes receiving information indicating that a first downlink control information (DCI) format scheduling transmission of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) includes a transform precoding indication (TPI) field and a channel providing a DCI format scheduling transmission of a first PUSCH. The method further includes determining whether the DCI format is the first or a second DCI format and a power headroom report (PHR). When the second DCI format, the PHR includes a single PHR associated with a transform precoding used for the transmission of the first PUSCH. When the first DCI format, the PHR includes first and second PHRs associated with first and second transform precodings, respectively, for the transmission of the first PUSCH. The method further includes transmitting the first PUSCH with the PHR using either the first or second transform precoding.
