    Abstract: A device is configured obtain a first set of multiview pictures, wherein the first set of multiview pictures includes first pictures and second pictures, the first pictures being from a first viewpoint and the second pictures being from a second viewpoint; transmit first encoded video data to a receiving device, wherein the first encoded video data is based on the first set of multiview pictures; receive multiview encoding cues from the receiving device; obtain a second set of multiview pictures of the video data, wherein the second set of multiview pictures includes third pictures and fourth pictures, the third pictures being from the first viewpoint and the fourth pictures being from the second viewpoint; perform, based on the multiview encoding cues, a multiview encoding process on the second set of multiview pictures to generate second encoded video data; and transmit the second encoded video data to the receiving device.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to reducing the signaling overhead for configuring a common reference signal used in performing coarse power control of multiple spatial domain multiplexing (SDM) uplink streams are provided. A base station may be in communication with a UE via multiple SDM streams directed from the same panel of the respective device. The base station may configure a common pathloss reference signal for the SDM streams of the same panel for the UE. This may include sending a list of possible pathloss reference signal configurations to the UE, and then identifying which configuration to use for the pathloss reference signal for the group of SDM streams. Once known, the UE may measure the reference signal for open loop power control. The BS may occasionally reconfigure the common reference signal for the grouped SDM streams.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of random access resources from a base station. The configuration may indicate a quantity of a plurality of random access preambles, a quantity of a plurality of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), and a quantity of random access preambles per SSB. The received configuration may indicate that each random access preamble of the plurality of random access preambles is available to the UE in the random access occasion for each SSB of a plurality of SSBs transmitted by the base station. The UE may select a random access preamble of the plurality of random access preambles based at least in part on the received configuration and transmit the selected random access preamble to the base station in the random access occasion.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless networks may maintain up-to-date location information for the UE by periodically determining the location the UE using a low power transponding mechanism while the UE is in an inactive state. The UE may monitor a first beam to receive one or more transponder search signals during one or more transponder occasions, and between paging attempts from one or more of the base stations of the network. The UE may receive the one or more transponder search signals, and may transmit a transponder response message to a base station including a UE identifier associated with the inactive state. The base station may receive the transponder response message, and may conduct various location measurements for the UE using the transponder response.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for dedicated pilot signals associated with radio frequency impairment compensation. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support a signaling mechanism according to which the UE may measure and report, to the network entity, an imbalance between an in-phase (I) component and a quadrature (Q) component of a modulated signal. For example, the UE may request the network entity to transmit an out-of-band pilot signal to enable frequency domain residual side band (FDRSB) estimation at the UE and the UE may transmit measurement information associated with the IQ imbalance or the FDRSB estimation to the network entity. The network entity may receive the measurement information and compensate or correct signaling in accordance with the received measurement information.
