    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may receive one or more service data units (SDUs) at a layer two (L2) layer of the transmitting device. The transmitting device may encode, at the L2 layer, the one or more SDUs according to one or more network coding parameters to obtain at least one encoded protocol data unit (PDU), the one or more network coding parameters comprising a rateless code. The transmitting device may generate, for the at least one encoded PDU, at least one corresponding PDU header. The transmitting device may output the at least one encoded PDU and the at least one corresponding PDU header from the L2 layer to a lower layer of the transmitting device for transmission to one or more receiving devices.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for wireless communication including a UE and a base station. The UE can receive a MAC CE indicating an update to a spatial relation configuration of the UE for PUCCH transmissions. In some aspects, the update can be indicated by PUCCH resource information, where the PUCCH resource information can include first PUCCH resource information including a first PUCCH resource ID that identifies a first PUCCH resource and first spatial identification information. Additionally, the UE can update the spatial relation configuration of the UE based on at least one of the first PUCCH resource information or other PUCCH resource information of the PUCCH resource information, where the other PUCCH resource information can be in a same PUCCH resource group as the first PUCCH resource. Also, the UE can transmit a PUCCH transmission based on the updated spatial relation configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for signaling for transmission configuration indication (TCI) state activation for multiple transmission reception points are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive at least one control message indicating a first set of beam configurations associated with a first downlink shared channel from a first transmission reception point (TRP) and a second set of beam configurations associated with a second downlink shared channel from a second TRP. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) from the first and second TRPs indicating a first beam configuration of the first set of beam configurations and a second beam configuration of the second set of beam configurations, respectively. The UE may subsequently decode a first downlink transmission from the first downlink shared channel according to the first beam configuration and a second downlink transmission from the second downlink shared channel according to the second beam configuration.

    Abstract: A UE and a base station are disclosed. The UE may receive, from a base station, an indication of a configuration of an SS and a set of candidate DL-RSs associated with a plurality of CG-SDT resources. The base station may monitor for the UL data transmission from the UE corresponding to a CG-SDT occasion of the CG-SDT resources. The UE may measure a RSRP of each of the set of candidate DL-RSs associated with the CG-SDT resources. The UE may select an UL beam based on the measured RSRP of each of the set of candidate DL-RSs associated with the CG-SDT resources. The UE may transmit, to the base station via the selected UL beam, the UL data transmission over a CG-SDT occasion of the plurality of CG-SDT resources. The UE may monitor the SS for a response to the UL data transmission from the base station.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a response message associated with a random access message, wherein the response message includes an identifier of the UE; select a format of an uplink channel or an uplink signal for acknowledging successful decoding of the response message; determine a transmit power for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgment (ACK) information based at least in part on at least one of: a message type of the response message, a mode of random access associated with the random access message, a power control configuration used by a previous transmission of the random access message, or the format of the uplink channel or the uplink signal; and transmit the HARQ ACK information using a power control procedure based at least in part on the transmit power.     Abstract: An apparatus, such as a base station, may determine channel conditions associated with at least two carriers on which communication with another apparatus is configured. The apparatus may encode a dataset into a set of protocol data units (PDUs) using fountain coding based on the channel conditions. The apparatus may send a first subset of the set of PDUs to the other apparatus on a first carrier of the at least two carriers. The apparatus may send a second subset of the set of PDUs to the other apparatus on a second carrier of the at least two carriers. Another apparatus, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive the set of PDUs from the apparatus over the at least two carriers, and may decode the set of PDUs to obtain a dataset using fountain coding.
