Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods relate to an automatic transmission scheme for a de-prioritized protocol data unit (PDU) when the originally assigned configured grant for the PDU is de-prioritized due to channel conflicts. Specifically, a user equipment may obtain a PDU for transmission over a first configured grant physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) instance. The UE may then detect de-prioritization information that the first configured grant PUSCH instance is de-prioritized due to channel overlapping, and then automatically transmit the PDU originally associated with the first configured grant PUSCH instance over a second configured grant PUSCH instance.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for handling a radio link failure timer in the presence of a conditional handover command. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a serving cell, a conditional handover command for handing over the UE to a target neighbor cell, wherein the conditional handover command includes one or more triggering conditions for executing a handover to a candidate target cell; monitoring one or more first signals from the candidate target cell for the one or more triggering conditions; and performing one of: stopping a timer based on performing a conditional handover to the target candidate cell; or detecting a timer has expired while monitoring the one or more first signals from the candidate target cell for the one or more triggering conditions.

In some aspects, a first base station (BS) may receive, from a user equipment (UE), an overheating assistance information communication that indicates a maximum quantity of component carriers, combined between the first BS and a second BS, for the UE. The first BS may transmit, to the second BS, a request to reduce a quantity of component carriers of the second BS configured for the UE such that a total quantity of component carriers, between the first BS and the second BS, configured for the UE satisfies the maximum quantity of component carriers. Abstract: Device and techniques for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may switch from a first bandwidth part (BWP) configuration to a second BWP configuration based on a trigger for transitioning from a first activity state to a second activity state with respect to a cell group. The trigger may be an expiration of a timer at the UE, or the UE may receive control signaling indicating the transition. The second BWP configuration may be based on a mode configured at the UE associated with the second activity state. The configured mode may indicate one or more measurements the UE is to perform while in the second activity state. In some examples, the BWP configuration may include configured BWPs based on the indicated measurements of the configured mode.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may transmit a random access request message to a base station in a random access procedure to access a wireless network. In response, the base station may transmit a random access response message to the UE including an uplink grant for a first set of uplink resources for the UE to transmit a radio resource control (RRC) message. The UE may determine a second set of uplink resources for transmitting the RRC message, for example, based on additional uplink grants received in the random access response message. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may derive additional grants implicitly from the first uplink grant received from the base station. The UE may transmit the RRC message to the base station using the first and/or second sets of uplink resources and establish a connection based on the RRC message for subsequent uplink and downlink communications.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described related to timer-based sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX). A UE may receive configuration information for a sidelink DRX mode from a base station or another UE, which may indicate one or more parameters of the sidelink DRX mode. When operating in the sidelink DRX mode, a group of UEs may have shared active durations and inactive durations for coordinating sidelink communications. In a timer-based sidelink DRX mode, if a UE receives or transmits a sidelink communication, the UE may initiate an inactivity timer, and the UE may continue to monitor a sidelink channel for other sidelink communications while the timer is running. One or more rules may govern the operation of an inactivity timer with respect to the shared inactive durations.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to mobility with consideration for network slicing are provided. In one embodiment, a user equipment (UE) transmits in a first cell frequency of a network, a request for a network slice of the network that is not provided by the first cell frequency. The UE receives, in response to the request, an information for communicating in a second cell frequency of the network that provides the requested network slice. In one embodiment, a core network entity receives, from a network entity operating over a first cell frequency of a network, a request to provide a network slice of the network to a UE, the network slice not provided by the first cell frequency. The core network entity transmits, to the BS, information associated with a second cell frequency of the network providing the network slice.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for a user equipment (UE) performing Listen Before Talk (LBT) procedures during a handover, such as during a dual active protocol stack (DAPS) handover or a conditional handover. During the handover, the UE may have a source connection with a source cell. If the source cell is unlicensed, the UE may perform LBT for a channel of the source cell. The UE may establish a target connection with a target cell before releasing the source connection with the source cell. If the target cell is unlicensed, the UE may perform LBT for a channel of the target cell.
