Abstract:
The invention concerns a tablet pointer that enables the drag mode to be retained even when the operation surface of a tablet sheet is so narrow that the stylus press-held thereto needs to be temporarily lifted off. Switch data generating member provided in the tablet pointer produces switch data indicating the operating state of a mouse switch and device output data of the tablet pointer is fed to a personal computer as an output of an operation unique to the mouse, such as drag mode data. While in a keep-drag mode, the switch data generating member does not cancel the drag mode even if it is supplied with an ordinary drag cancel input. Hence, the drag mode can be retained even if it receives a drag mode cancel signal during the drag operation.
Abstract:
A spinning reel has a detachable cover for closing a side of a reel body. The reel body includes engaging pieces, while the cover includes engageable elements. The cover is movable between a first position for tight contact with the reel body to close an interior of the reel body, and a second position rotated a predetermined angle from the first position about a lateral axis of the reel body. The engaging pieces are engaged with the engageable elements when the cover is in the first position, to realize the cramping of the cover with the reel body, to assure the closed condition of the reel body, and disengaged from the engageable elements when the cover is in said second position, to allow the cover to separate from the reel body. And the reel have a locking system to maintain the cover in the first position.
Abstract:
A pulverulent material feeder apparatus includes a bottom plate extending horizontally and inner and outer cylinders disposed on the bottom plate in a coaxial relation. These cylinders define therebeween a material transporting space. A material extruding gap is formed between a lower edge of the inner cylinder and the bottom plate. The apparatus further includes a rotatable annular member connected to a rotatable shaft mounted at the coaxial center by means of spokes so that the annular member is disposed along the inner periphery of the outer cylinder and a gap adjusting cylinder which is disposed along the outer periphery of the inner cylinder and adapted to be adjusted with respect to the vertical position thereof for thereby making it possible to adjust the size of the extruding gap. The gap adjusting cylindrical member is formed spirally substantially over a whole circumference thereof with an inclination relative to the plane of the bottom plate so that the material extruding gap is minimum at a position adjacent to the material discharge port and is progressively enlarged, starting from the minimum gap portion, in a direction in which the spokes are rotated. The bottom plate may be formed in a cone-like configuration having a center portion protruding upwardly and a lower periphery so that a pulverulent material charged into the inner cylinder can be expelled radially outwardly to the last bit by sliding downwardly on and along the bevelled surface of the bottom plate.
Abstract:
A spinning reel includes a pair of arms formed on a rotor disposed in a forward portion of a reel body. At least one of the arms carries an oscillatable arm, and a bail arm extends between the oscillatable arm and the other arm or an oscillatable arm attached to the other arm to be switchable between a line winding position and a line freeing position. A bail engaging element is formed on the oscillatable arm or a member oscillatable with the oscillatable arm. The bait engaging element is operable to hold a bait against a forward tension when the bail arm is set to the line winding position, and to release the bait forwardly when the bail arm is set to the line freeing position.
Abstract:
A spinning reel comprising a reel body, a handle operable to take up a fishing line on a spool, and an oscillating mechanism. The oscillating mechanism is mounted in the reel body, and includes a screw shaft rotatable by drive from a transmission line leading from the handle, an insert piece engaging a helical groove defined on the screw shaft, a transmission member for transmitting a moving force of the insert piece to a spool shaft, and a cushioning device for mitigating shocks imparted from a position forwardly of the spool shaft. The cushioning device is disposed in a portion extending from a position of the reel body for supporting the screw shaft through the insert piece to an intermediate position of the spool shaft.
Abstract:
A fishing reel supports at a front wall of a reel body, a spool, a rotary frame which has first and second arms, and a bail arm which is supported between the arms in a manner permitting it to be turned over between a position where the rotary frame rotates to wind a fishing line onto the spool and a position where the line is released. A control means is provided to turn over the bail arm from the line winding to the line releasing position, the control means having a control member positioned in proximity to an arm roller at the bail arm which retains the line at the line winding position, so that when an angler catches by his finger the line retained by the arm roller, he can operate the control member in association with the line catching action.
Abstract:
There is disclosed an interference spectrophotometer which collects data while monitoring the position of a movable mirror by providing quadrature control to accurately perform coherent addition of data. The spectrophotometer includes a main interferometer, a control interferometer, a sliding controller controlling movement of the movable mirror, an A/D converter converting analog data obtained by the main interferometer into digital form, a register for holding data obtained by one scan of the movable mirror, a memory for accumulating data obtained by numerous scans of the movable mirror, an up/down counter receiving the output signals from two detectors included in the control interferometer, and a decision part. When the counter's value varies, the counter causes the A/D converter to perform its A/D conversion. Then, the decision part checks the counter's value after the A/D conversion. If this value differs from the count value obtained prior to the A/D conversion, the data held in the register is discarded.
Abstract:
A spinning reel including a spool for winding thereon a fishing line through rotation of a rotary frame carrying a bail arm is rotable with respect to a reel body with the rotation of the spool being adapted to be subjected to a resistance. Between the spool and a member subject to rotational resistance is provided a shock absorber which deflects when subjected to a pulling action overcoming the durability of the line and absorbs a shock caused by an excessive pulling action on the line, thereby preventing the line from being cut during such excessive pulling thereon.
