Abstract: A terminal device, initially, maintains, in at least one memory, a configuration for a Radio Resource Control, RRC, inactive state. The configuration includes information on a radio access network notification area, RNA. The terminal device, then, acquires information on an expected latency of incoming RRC messages within the RNA. In response to triggering a RRC connection resume procedure, the terminal device performs the following: First, the terminal device transmits a RRC connection resume request to a target access node and starts a timer defined based on the expected latency. In response to the timer expiring, the terminal device initiates monitoring of incoming RRC messages. In response to receiving a RRC connection resume message, the terminal device initiates the RRC connected state.

Abstract: Apparatus, method and computer program for adjusting radio resource management (RRM) measurements are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a radio channel propagation profile (902) for a user apparatus, wherein the radio channel propagation profile indicates multipath effects on a radio signal received by the user apparatus; and adjusting (904) radio resource management measurements of the user apparatus based on the radio channel propagation profile.

Abstract: There are provided measures for measurement relaxation change based on the total received power, in particular on an indicator of the total received power. Such measures exemplarily include, at a terminal in a radio resource management measurements relaxation mode having a reduced radio resource management measurements activity within a first relaxation mode scope as a relaxation mode scope of said radio resource management measurements relaxation mode, the terminal being served by a radio cell in a frequency band, achieving information on a parameter indicative of a total power received by said terminal at said frequency band, and deciding on a change of said relaxation mode scope of said radio resource management measurements relaxation mode based on said information on said parameter indicative of said total power received by said terminal at said frequency band.

Abstract: An apparatus which is able to communicate based on at least two communication methods, wherein each communication method is configured to communicate with access networks by using at least one subflow, acquires (S41) information from at least one of the communication methods for at least one of the subflows and provides (S42) the information to a subflow control entity at a higher layer of the apparatus. Based on the information, the subflow control entity evaluates (S43) whether a change will occur in the at least one of the subflows. In case the change is evaluated to occur in the at least one of the subflows, the subflow control entity evaluates (S44) when the change will occur, and evaluates (S45) whether the change evaluated to occur impacts a specific requirement of delivering packets by using the at least one of the subflows. In case the change is evaluated to impact the specific requirement, the subflow control entity changes (S46) usage of the subflows for delivering packets.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided in accordance with example embodiments in order to provide for the efficient, dynamic distribution of traffic in a hybrid network environment based at least in part on reliability probabilities associated with individual subflows within the network. In some example implementations, a traffic distribution entity provides for control over the determination of combined reliability probabilities of multiple potential traffic distribution modes and the selection of a traffic distribution mode that is capable of meeting performance targets, such as those associated with mission-critical operations of cyber-physical systems.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of the enhancement on the UE report. The method comprises generating, a report including information related to a measurement relaxation performed by the first device based on a measurement relaxation configuration, the report being associated with at least one of a RLF report or a successful handover report; and transmitting the report to the second device. In this way, the network can be aware about whether a failure was experienced in conjunction with the measurements relaxation. With the enhanced report, the network may determine the future configuration of the measurement relaxation.
