摘要:
The invention provides an isolated cDNA sequence coding for murine interleukin 5 receptor, murine secretory interleukin 5 receptor, human interleukin 5 receptor, and human secretory interleukin 5 receptor and products including murine interleukin 5 receptor, murine secretory interleukin 5 receptor, and human interleukin 5 receptor which are produced using the isolated cDNA sequence. These products may be useful for a therapeutic agent for autoimmune disorders and diseases with eosinophilia in which human IL-5 is believed to be involved.

An electronic stringed instrument applicable to an electronic guitar, violin etc., picks up string vibrations to produce a direct sound. The direct sound is combined with additional sound which is produced by processing the picked-up signal. The direct sound and the processed sound are controlled according to string vibrations. The picked-up signal is converted into a digital signal which is then processed to produce the processed sound whose characteristic is controlled depending on the amplitude and/or pitch of the picked-up signal.

Audio data of a predetermined piece of music is recorded on a compact disc. A sequence of musical tone data is stored in an auto-play memory. Also stored in this auto-play memory are a time control command, an access command and a play command. An instrument controller reads out these commands to surely control the auto-playing and reproduction of data from the compact disc in synchronism.

An electronic stringed instrument employs a plurality of sensors or monitors for instrument performance. Preferred sensors or monitors include a detector for detecting that a string of the instrument is vibrated, an apparatus for evaluating a string-vibration strength or a string touch, an apparatus for discriminating a fret operation position on a fingerboard or a fundamental frequency of a vibration of the vibrated string, a tremolo arm sensor, and a string-bending sensor. These performance input parameters are assigned to various control functions for musical tones generated by a sound source and/or various control functions for effects added to these musical tones by an effector. The function assignment is preferably programmable. In an operation, a music control apparatus control the sound source and/or effector in response to a performance monitor so that musical tones for the strings can be distinguished from each other or effects for the musical tones can be distinguished from each other. Therefore, a performance with the stringed instrument by a player can be fully expressed.

An instrument which automatically generates plucking sounds responsive a player's manual fingering operation performed on an electronic stringed instrument, and also to a memory instrument which stores plucking data for generating the plucking sounds. When fingering operation is performed on a fingerboard, an output section thereof outputs pitch data. Plucking data are sequentially read out from a memory section thereof. On the basis of the pitch data and the plucking data, a musical tone generating section automatically and sequentially generates plucking sounds each having a tone pitch corresponding to the pitch data, without a manual plucking operation of the player.

In an electronic tuning apparatus used in electronic stringed instruments such as an electronic guitar, an electronic violin, and so on, at least one string is extended along the fingerboard. Prior to picking performance, a present state of the extended string is examined through picking said string. Preferably, a reference pitch data extracted through the string-picking manipulation is stored. During a live picking performance, a performance-pitch data extracted is converted into a data for defining a properly-tuned sound-frequency in accordance with said extended string state. A musical-tone having a corresponding sound frequency is generated based on data for defining said sound frequency.

A string member and a string trigger switch mechanism associated with the string member are arranged on an instrument main body. The string member is extended on the instrument main body at a given tension. When the string member is deviated against the tension upon a string displace operation and is then released from its state of tension, a string trigger switch starts a switching operation. While the string member is displaced from its state of rest, the string trigger switch does not start a switching operation. The string trigger switch outputs a tone generation start instruction signal based on the switching operation, and this signal causes a musical tone generating apparatus to start generation of a musical tone. When the string member is plucked while depressing a pitch designating section arranged on the instrument main body, a musical tone at a selectively designated pitch is generated. A plucking force or a plucking speed is detected by a touch response detecting section, and characteristics of a generated musical tone are controlled accordingly.
