    Abstract: Method and apparatus for transmission and reception with polar codes are provided to support up to 16 permutations or transformation mappings. For example, 16 versions of copies able to be soft-combined for PBCH or any other data channel or control channel are suggested if the mother code length is 256 or 512 or 1024. With the new design, up to 16 different versions can be used to soft combined to improve the performance. Some sequences are provided as examples to support 16 different permutation patterns. The inverse of these sequences also have the feature to support 16 different permutation patterns.

    Abstract: A polar code coding method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: determining, based on a target code length corresponding to an information bit sequence, a first mother code length corresponding to the information bit sequence; and performing polar code coding on the information bit sequence based on the first mother code length and mapping relationship information, where the mapping relationship information includes a correspondence between a mother code length and at least one of the following: a transport block size, a construction work point, or a construction sequence. In the method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, polar code coding may be directly performed on the information bit sequence based on at least one of a first transport block size, a first construction work point, or a first construction sequence, so as to reduce coding overheads in a polar code coding process.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a time-frequency resource allocation method and apparatus. The method includes: determining, by a network device, N terminal device types based on a current movement speed of a terminal device within a coverage area, where the N terminal device types are in a one-to-one correspondence with N demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) with different time domain densities; classifying, by the network device, available time-frequency resources into N time-frequency resource groups based on the N terminal device types, where a first DMRS in the N DMRSs is configured for a first time-frequency resource group in the N time-frequency resource groups; and sending, by the network device, resource indication information to the terminal device based on the N time-frequency resource groups.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for coding in a wireless communication network. A communication device interleave a first bit sequence to obtain a first interleaved sequence having sequence number starting with a sequence number of 0, wherein the first bit sequence comprises bits for indicating timing, wherein the bits for indicating timing comprises a set of bits for indicating synchronization signal block index (SSBI); wherein the set of bits for indicating SSBI are placed in positions indicated by sequence numbers of 2, 3 and 5 in the first interleaved sequence. The devices add d first CRC bits on the first interleaved sequence to obtain a second bit sequence, interleave on the second bit sequence according to an interleave pattern to obtain a second interleaved sequence, and polar encode the second interleaved sequence to obtain the encoded sequence.
