Abstract:
A cleaning method for a contact type charger in an cleanerless image forming apparatus. The method includes a step of switching bias voltages applied to the contact type charger and a develop/cleaning device from first level to a second level so as to release developer adhering to the contact type charger onto an image-bearing member as well as to collect a part of the developer moved onto the image-bearing member by the developing/cleaning device, and a step of switching the bias voltage from the second level to the first level so as to collect the rest of the developer released onto the image-bearing member by the develop/cleaning device.
Abstract:
A thermoplastic propylene resin composition of the present invention is obtained by blending an epoxy group containing copolymer (G) and a rubber-like material (H) and/or a modified rubber-like material (I) with a resin omposition composed of a polyamide resin (F) and a polypropylene type resin (E).The thermoplastic propylene resin composition can easily be processed into molded products, films or sheets by injection molding, extrusion molding or the like, giving products which have a good balance in various physical properties and a uniform and smooth appearance. It is suitable for purposes in which especially high heat resistance, impact resistance and low-temperature impact resistance are required.
Abstract:
A contact charging device for charging an outer surface of an electrostatic latent image carrier in contact therewith which has a charging member at least partly in contact with the electrostatic latent image carrier, the portion of the charging member in contact with the electrostatic latent image carrier being formed by a layer containing a copolymer of an olefin-type vinyl monomer and a fluorine-contained monomer, and a power supply for applying a charging voltage to the charging member.
Abstract:
A contact charger in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus for electrostatically charging a photosensitive, latent image support surface of a rotatably supported photosensitive drum in contact therewith. The contact charger comprises a generally elongated carrier and a charging member carried at a first side edge by the carrier. This charging member has a second side edge opposite to the first side edge which is held in sliding contact with the photosensitive surface over a predetermined contact distance. The charging member has a curved surface of a radius of curvature of 0.02 to 1.0 mm at a side edge portion thereof at which contact of the charging member with the photosensitive surface terminates. A power source for applying a voltage to the charging member is also employed.
Abstract:
A thermoplastic propylene resin composition of the present invention is obtained by blending a polyamide resin (F), an epoxy group containing copolymer (G) with a graft resin composition (J) obtained by graft copolymerizing an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof onto a mixture of polypropylene (C) and a rubber-like material (H) wherein the content of the polyamide resin (F) in the thermoplastic propylene composition is less than 60% by weight. These thermoplastic propylene resin compositions can easily be processed into molded products, films or sheets by injection molding, extrusion molding or the like, giving products which have a good balance in various physical properties and a uniform and smooth appearance. They are suitable for purposes in which especially high heat resistance, impact resistance and low-temperature impact resistance are required.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a citrus tree having a moderate spreading vigor, and bearing medium size and rounded fruit with an orange skin color. This new and distinct variety of citrus tree is a late maturing citrus cultivar, is bred by a crossing of "Kiyomi" (the seed parent) and "Okitsu-wase" (the pollen parent), Citrus unshiu, bears good quality fruit, and is an excellent citrus cultivar.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a developing device which includes a rotatably arranged photoreceptor, a rotatably disposed elastic roller confronting the photoreceptor, a cylindrically formed flexible member having a peripheral length longer than that of the elastic roller and loosely mounted thereover, and a positioning member to position the flexible member partly into contact with the photoreceptor, the positioning member including an elastic member to form a slack of the flexible member at a location confronting the photoreceptor for the flexible member to contact with the photoreceptor.
Abstract:
In an apparatus for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrostatic latent image carrier using a monocomponent developer, a developing member, which makes contact with the electrostatic latent image carrier when the developing member has a coating of monocomponent developer maintained on the surface thereof, incorporates a dielectric material in which conductive particles are dispersed and has a volume resistivity that increases from the direction of the core to the surface.
Abstract:
A developing device developes an electrostatic latent image formed on a rotatable electrostatic latent image support member. The developing device includes a rotatable first toner transport member in contact with an electrostatic latent image support member and a rotatable second toner transport member in contact with an electrostatic latent image support member. Toner layers are formed on the peripheral surface of the first toner transport member and the second toner transport member. The electric conductivity of the first toner transport member is different from that of the second toner transport member.
Abstract:
A developing device adjoins a rotatably arranged photoreceptor, and is internally provided with a rotatably disposed developing roller confronting the photoreceptor. A cylindrically formed flexible film member having a peripheral length longer than that of the developing roller and loosely mounted thereover is included. A first member for forming a slack portion of the film member, for example, a regulating blade or a cleaning blade, and a second member for controlling the position of the slack portion of the film member, for example, a magnet is provided in the developing device.
