    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may reduce a transmission power of a scheduled downlink message relative to an expected transmission power of the scheduled downlink message in response to determining that the scheduled downlink message will cause at least a threshold level of interference with a concurrently scheduled uplink message. The base station may transmit the scheduled downlink message to a user equipment (UE) using the reduced transmission power and may transmit, to the UE an indication of a power adjustment for a downlink measurement of the scheduled downlink message. The UE may receive the indication after receiving the scheduled downlink message and may adjust the downlink measurement in accordance with the indication of the power adjustment.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating a programmable smart repeater with in-band control are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a repeater includes establishing a control link with a control node and receiving, via the control link, a configuration of one or more parameters of the repeater to forward communication between a first wireless device and a second wireless device. The example method also includes transitioning an MT component of the repeater to a power saving mode for at least a period of time after receiving the configuration and forwarding the communication between the first wireless device and the second wireless device based on the one or more parameters in the configuration. The disclosed techniques may enable reduction in control signaling between the control node and the repeater to provide power savings for the MT of the repeater and lower signal overhead for the control node.

    Abstract: A method of handover at a user equipment (UE) is provided comprising receiving, from a first network entity (NE), a configuration for conditional handover associated with a second NE. The configuration includes at least one condition. An indication is received by the UE from the first NE to execute the conditional handover. Handover is initiated from the first NE to the second NE subject to the condition being satisfied. The condition may be that the indication is received or it may be a channel condition or both. At an NE, configurations for conditional handover are sent to multiple UEs, each configuration associated with a target NE and each including at least one condition, and an indication is sent to at least one UE to execute conditional handover.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Wireless communications systems may support communications between various network nodes via repeaters to extend coverage to areas that may be otherwise uncovered. A repeater may forward a signal using a circular polarization type. A receiving network node may receive a signal transmitted with a circular polarization type using a linear antenna configuration without a risk of the signal being orthogonal to the linear antenna configuration, and therefore not received by the receiving network node. A repeater may report, to a control entity, a capability of the repeater to forward signals using a set of one or more polarization types (e.g., including at least one circular polarization type), and in response the repeater may receive scheduling information indicating for the repeater to forward a signal in a given communication resource using a particular polarization type (e.g., a particular circular polarization type).

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A central unit (CU) function of a base station may identify a first set of user equipment (UE) to communicate via sidelink communications with a distributed unit associated with the central unit. The CU function may determine, based at least in part on the distributed unit being an integrated access and backhaul provider to the first set of UE, a first configuration for the distributed unit to use for sidelink communications with the first set of UE, the first configuration different than a second configuration for one or more nodes associated with the base station to use for sidelink communications with a second set of UE in communication with the base station. The CU function may provide an indication of the first configuration to the distributed unit.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, a first network entity may transmit a request for resources (e.g., periodic, aperiodic, or semi-persistent resources) to monitor for reference signals from a second network entity, and the first network entity may perform CLI measurements on the reference signals received on the resources from the second network entity. The first network entity or the second network entity may be a mobile network entity. The CLI measurements may be used to schedule communications at the first network entity or the second network entity. In another aspect, a first network entity may receive an indication of aperiodic resources to monitor for reference signals from a second network entity, and the first network entity may perform cross link interference (CLI) measurements on the reference signals received on the aperiodic resources from the second network entity.
