Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide techniques and apparatuses for using keep-alive signaling for network energy saving in an idle mode. A network entity can transmit a keep-alive signal (KAS) to reduce the energy consumption of a network when the network is in an idle mode. In some aspects, the KAS can be a reduced synchronization signal block (SSB) that is sent more frequently than a full SSB. In some aspects, the KAS can have a different beam sweeping pattern and/or beam width from the full SSB.

To perform the forwarding timing advance procedure, the first network entity may determine a first time for receiving a transmission from a second network entity based on forwarding timing advance information, where the forwarding timing advance information is based on an internal delay of the first network entity, and where a target of the transmission is a third network entity. Abstract: Systems and methods for beam management in a wireless communication system are provided. In a network with a full duplex network entity communicating with two UEs, the network entity may configure cross-link interference (CLI) resources such that the interference between the devices may be characterized. One UE may transmit a reference signal which is read by the other device. Based on the measurement, a report may be sent to the network entity. The network entity may use the information in the report to then base scheduling decisions, and/or indicate to the UEs which beams are restricted from use in order to avoid excessive interference.
