Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for cellular communications. In one aspect, a UE determines an FFP of a cell signal for the UE in a frame based equipment mode, determines one or more SSB positions in the cell signal based on the FFP, and performs radio management of the UE based at least in part on the one or more invalid SSB candidate positions. Performing radio management may include using one or more SSB positions in the FFP exclusive of the one or more invalid SSB candidate positions. Radio management may include PDSCH rate matching, radio link monitoring or measurement, or radio resource management. In some implementations, the one or more SSB positions are SSB positions after a first eight SSB positions in an FFP. In some other implementations, the one or more SSB positions are SSB positions that at least partially overlap an idle period between FFPs.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to wireless communications are provided. A first wireless communication device may communicate with a second wireless communication device, a first power mode configuration including a first transmit power parameter and a first communication signal based on the first power mode configuration. The first wireless communication device may communicate with a second wireless communication device, a second power mode configuration including a second transmit power parameter different from the first transmit power parameter and a second communication signal based on the second power mode configuration.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining which of two or more invalid symbol patterns to apply to at least one physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) with repetition, such as in a multi-transmit-receive-point (multi-TRP) situation where two or more invalid symbol patterns may be used to schedule respective PUSCHs. For example, a pattern may indicate one or more invalid symbols for PUSCH repetition Type B transmission. In a multi-TRP case, each TRP may have a separate pattern indicating different unavailable symbols. One invalid symbol pattern may not be enough for PUSCH transmissions to multi-TRPs. The present disclosure provides techniques for determining and applying one or more of at least two patterns to PUSCH transmissions with repetition.

COMMUNICATION CONFIGURATION BASED ON RANDOM ACCESS BANDWIDTH

Abstract: A communication configuration is selected based on the bandwidth used by a wireless communication device during a random access procedure (e.g., on an unlicensed band). In some scenarios, the maximum transmit power that the wireless communication device can use may be significantly restricted (e.g., by a regulation). In some cases (e.g., when the wireless communication device is near a center of a cell), the wireless communication device may transmit the random access information using a default bandwidth. In other cases (e.g., when the wireless communication device is near a cell edge), the wireless communication device may transmit the random access information using a wider bandwidth (e.g., to increase the coverage of the transmission). In some aspects, the maximum bandwidth used for the random access procedure may be used to select at least one communication configuration that is used for a subsequent communication (e.g., data or control signaling).

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may encode, for a first set of resource elements (REs), a first layer for sidelink control information. The UE may encode, for a second set of REs, a second layer for sidelink data, wherein the first set of REs and the second set of REs are associated with a same one or more symbols. The UE may transmit, to another UE and based at least in part on applying superposition coded modulation (SCM) to the first layer and the second layer, the sidelink control information using the first set of REs and the sidelink data using the second set of REs. Numerous other aspects are described.
