    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications, and more specifically, coverage enhancements for physical broadcast channel (PBCH). According to certain aspects, a method is provided for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission, receiving a different type downlink transmission, with transmit power boosted relative to the PDSCH transmission, receiving information regarding relative transmit power of the PDSCH transmission relative to a common reference signal (CRS) based on the transmit power of the different type downlink transmission, and processing the PDSCH transmission based on the information.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for dynamic resource multiplexing. In one aspect, a base station can transmit a first uplink/downlink configuration for communicating with one or more User Equipments (UEs). The first uplink/downlink configuration can comprise a set of fixed resources configured for uplink communication without downlink resources for downlink communication or for downlink communication without uplink resources for uplink communication. The base station can also transmit a second uplink/downlink configuration for communicating with the one or more UEs. The second configuration can comprise a flexible resource configuration. Additionally, the base station can communicate with a least one of the one or more UEs based on the first uplink/downlink configuration or the second uplink/downlink configuration.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, configuration information indicating that the UE is to compress a precoding matrix indicator in connection with channel state information reporting, wherein the precoding matrix indicator is to be compressed based at least in part on a quantization dependency between transmission layers or an orthogonality relationship between the transmission layers, and wherein the configuration information is associated with a type II, higher rank codebook for multiple input multiple output configuration. The UE may transmit, to a base station (BS), the compressed precoding matrix indicator to the base station based at least in part on receiving the configuration information. The UE and BS may use a communication configuration based at least in part on a precoding matrix indicator recovered from the compressed precoding matrix indicator. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a user equipment (UE) to set uplink power control for a long uplink burst and a short uplink burst. The UE receives uplink power control information including a first set of power control parameters for a long uplink burst and a second set of power control parameters for a short uplink burst with the sets of power control parameters being different from each other. The UE configures uplink power control for the long uplink burst based at least on the first set of power control parameters and the short uplink burst based at least on the second set of power control parameters. The UE sends at least one of a long uplink burst and a short uplink burst based on the corresponding uplink power control and sends at least one uplink power-headroom report for the long uplink burst and short uplink burst.
