Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to receiving a first downlink control information (DCI) indicating a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state to be applied for a first component carrier (CC) at a first beam applying time (BAT), receiving a second DCI indicating a second TCI state to be applied for the first CC or a second CC at a second BAT, and where the first BAT and the second BAT are within a same time period, applying the first TCI state or the second TCI state for one or more of the first CC or the second CC within the time period based at least in part on a first property of the first DCI and a second property of the second DCI. Other aspects relate to transmitting the DCI. Other aspects relate to when the BATs are not within the same time period.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may generate first and second sets of feedback bits associated with first and second sets of downlink transmissions, respectively, the first and second sets of feedback bits scheduled for transmission in a first set of uplink symbols. The UE may identify, based on a change in a format associated with the first set of uplink symbols, that only a subset of the first set of uplink symbols is available for transmission of the first set of feedback bits and the second set of feedback bits. The UE may determine to defer transmission of one or both of the first set of feedback bits and the second set of feedback bits to a second set of uplink symbols based on availability of the subset of the first set of uplink symbols and on a deferment scheme.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses that enable abase station (BS) to transmit downlink control information (DCI) without downlink data to indicate a transmission configuration indicator (TCI). In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a capability indication associated with whether the UE can receive DCI with a TCI and without a data assignment.
