    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE may be configured to communicate with a base station in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode according to a DRX cycle. The UE may receive signaling that indicates a configuration of a ramp window associated with the DRX cycle. The ramp window may include a set of slots that is adjacent to a sleep window of the DRX cycle and, in some examples, is adjacent to an on-window of the DRX cycle. The set of slots may include a first subset of wakeup slots and a second subset of sleep slots. During the ramp window, the UE may monitor for a transport block from the base station during the first subset of wakeup slots. If the UE receives the transport block during a wakeup slot, the UE may transition to the on-window of the DRX cycle.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may map a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequence to a first symbol in a set of resource blocks (RBs) of an uplink long burst, and the first symbol may occur at the beginning of the uplink long burst. The DMRS sequence may be “front-loaded” in the uplink long burst. The DMRS sequence may be dependent upon RB locations. When the DMRS sequence is mapped to the beginning of an uplink long burst, uplink control information (UCI) may be mapped in a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH). A UE may map UCI in a PUSCH after the DMRS sequence is mapped to the beginning of the uplink long burst. When the base station receives an uplink long burst including the front-loaded DMRS and the UCI mapped in the PUSCH, the base station may identify the DMRS for channel estimation/interference cancelation of the UCI carried on the PUSCH.

A wireless device may obtain group control information in a group common physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), determine resources for communicating on a shared channel based on the group control information, and communicate on the resources of the shared channel. A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) group comprising at least one UE, transmit, in a group common physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), group control information for scheduling the at least one UE for communicating on a shared channel, and communicate on the shared channel with the at least one UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may configure multiple types of resources at a user equipment (UE) for interference management processing at the UE in examples in which the base station employs a non-linear precoding technique. The multiple types of resources configured by the base station may include a first resource type configured for measuring channel gain at the UE, a second resource type configured for measuring non-linear interference at the UE arising from lower-layer data streams, and a third resource type configured for measuring linear interference at the UE arising from higher-layer data streams. The base station may transmit one or more reference signals to the UE over each of the multiple resource types and the UE may determine both a non-linear interference measurement and a linear interference measurement based on receiving the reference signals.
